Put it on a play it.
Shoot a video so we can all rock along.

Holy crap I don't even remember what that connector is called.
There are a bunch of Model Dâs out there. You might list it on the lower end due it being in 2 pieces. Iâve found Reverb to be a reliable source for used instruments prices & have purchased a few things out there.
Here you can see why just looking it up on Reverb wonât suffice.

A question for the hive mind, and I won't hold anyone to their answer since I suspect there will be a lot of speculation without much hard data.
I own a MiniMoog model D that I'm willing to sell. Let's assume it's in good shape, although I haven't plugged it in for 20+ years, but it's in a nice little case in a safe place. But there's something you need to know about it: it's in two pieces.
The original owner separated the keyboard from the rest of the unit by a very long cable (10ft?) probably so you could pretend you were Gary Wright, I don't know.
Any guesses as to what price I would ask for something like that? Maybe later I'll dig it out and test it and take some pics.

I would say that it is worth digging out and finding whether or not it still works. You also live in an area where it would not be too hard to turn.
Oh, look, they must have taken his straightjacket off again.
This is the Radio Paradise Listener Forum, where you are instantly demeaned for posting music and stuff. So better stay away, folks! Umberdog wrote:
I think the definition of "troll" must go something like; one that has something to say, so scary, those in denial do their very best to run and hide. I wonder what is the greater rudeness; someone acting on their right to express themselves, in a calm and cordial way, or them who conspire to take away that right? ... by behaving so childish and demeaning, as to refuse them their common right to speak as the majority are granted. Wow... all those high sounding virtues practiced nil upon nil...

Oh sure. Coming the other direction the planes were both closer to 500 mph... but airspeed was probably similar both directions?

Yep. Mach refers to speed in the medium. It's where the compressibility boundary is. Part of the reason it's hard to go that fast is that it gets bumpy right at the limit of compressibility.
Not to burst any bubbles (or create any pressure waves), but Mach one is air speed, that 674 was probably ground speed while he was caught up in the jet stream, so still only Mach ~.8 Mach.

Yeah in The Right Stuff, Tom Wolfe spent quite a bit of ink on explaining the problem and I don't know if I ever really got a handle on it.
It was interesting that on the way over, CFW was at Mach 1. I didn't think they did that ever, even over the ocean...
Speed
673 mph (Planned: 557 mph)
Altitude
33,000 ft (Planned: 33,000 ft) <ââ- Flightaware info
At 33,000 feet, the speed of sound is approximately 674 mph. <â- I googled that part

Is he scouting new territory? The math on those long hauls is interesting - something between arc of intercept and aiming for where your target will be, all in 3 dimensions plus weather.
