Ik ook, al jaren . Luister thuis via de app die RP speciaal voor Sonos heeft ontwikkeld. In de auto via de iphone app. Prachtige feature is de mogelijkheid om een nummer te skippen als je zo nu en dan iets tegenkomt wat jou minder bevalt. Zegt het voort! RP staat op eenzame hoogte. En met af en toe een kleine financiële bijdrage blijft RP in de toekomst ook prachtige muziek brengen.
I doubt a local would say it is perfect, but this is a beautiful, gentle, friendly, organised and civilised country. I could live here. It feels safe. Did I mention that it is beautiful?
Thanks for the compliment! The Dutch however are known to complain about everything, so, indeed, we would say our country is okay, but not perfect. We should be more appreciative, I think.

pracht station, heerlijke muziekmix met vooral veel muziek die je anders niet zou horen, en dat is waarom ik radio luister. en om de reputatie van ons land te ontkennen heb ik net een maandelijkse donatie ingesteld.
PS: als ik dit schrijf komt de Golder Earring voorbij Hoi Henkjan! Ik ben ook een Nederlandse luisteraar, uit Arnhem. Ik heb Radio Paradise ontdekt toen die zender aan stond in een buurthuis. Ik was meteen onder de indruk van de kwaliteit van de nummers. Ik luister nu regelmatig naar de zender. Het bevalt me meestal prima, alleen sommige series nummers vind ik slecht te verdragen. Vooral de wereldmuziek.

Throughout the day the music is just giving me so much pleasure. I notice that when i have tuned into RP I walk around with a smile on my face. Thanks RP

What is clear is that governing does not pay. The outgoing government presented a dream budget this year: what should have gone up went up, what should have come down came down. The Netherlands is currently one of the best performing countries in the EU. And still voters punished the outgoing coalition severely.
For the voter, apparently, politics is about more than the economy.
This is partly a false statement. The government spendings are on course for a healthy future, but the tax weight for the working class increased tremendously. And we are not the best performing country. It's compared to a few years back when we performed somewhere between Greece and Ireland. The truth is that our economy is largely dependent on Germany. If Germany grows we grow. So did the government do things well last 4 years? If you voted for the PVDA (party for the working class) and your tax and health costs grew enormously while your bosses made large profits, had tax cuts and can fire you with ease now? I wouldn't vote again for the PVDA. That happened.
