Really belongs in a diversity topic, but...
A bit of an old story, but...I think his point at the end about hiring based on a quota or talent is key.

Ohhhh yea! This episode was one of the relationship, calm setup for later shows ones but next week's promises plenty of violence!{#Lol}

I don't know what the show's producers were thinking. He just doesn't have enough experience being onstage. In some of the clips I watched this morning, you could see his eyes darting back and forth as he read the teleprompter. Well, at least he was more entertaining than James Franco. I think it's been determined he was the worst (co)-host ever.

He's the creator of the Family Guy series. I agree he was pretty bad. His demeanor reminded me of a smarmy game-show host. I only tuned in for about 20 minutes. I'm not a big fan of awards shows anyway.

Did anyone notice how Renee Zellweger looked over-medicated or drunk or both? That was kinda scary. I thought she just might topple over.
