With diesel supply we can run indefinitely... as long as we can pay for the diesel - we burn around 400 gallons an hour to support everything. Our utility is pretty good though and we have multiple feeds from different substations. Also, we share a grid with a lot of other critical and city services, So we'll be back up soon if something goes down.
There is no such thing as a gnome safe room. Honestly it would be easier to make a meteor shield.

Or put a floaty on his neck and cast him into the sea.... then call the coast guard and report a hazard to navigation. BHD - just a Keurig, I'm thinking about a fancy machine, but I'm still stingy.
