There are no hard-and-fast rules, and there have been political viewpoints posted as Journal entries (I have done that), but usually they have been personal viewpoints, not links. The forum is a better venue for the posting of links for purposes of generating discussions. The Journals are a vehicle for posting personal thoughts. I think most would prefer to reserve the Journals for original, personal thoughts or works. I know I would. Thanks for your consideration. He's contaminated the regular forum and the song comments, so why not go for the trifecta with the journals? Its what any attention-seeking troll not getting enough attention would do.
That was my point. I was just trying to phrase it in a way that wouldn't hit the asshole escalation switch and make him want to be even more rude and disrespectful to the community, if that is possible.

They do a lot of people a lot of good. There are plenty of threads in the forum to express your opinions in. Manbirds petition for veterans and Swell Sailors wonderful description of his beloved pups life are now pushed off the front page as a result.
