You want to begin again. Pretend you're innocent.
If you believe, you can convince yourself. I'm sure you can convince yourself.
This town never gave you much back. Just rumors and a whispering attack.
This town is not your friend. Never mind the loose ends.
Take me with you when you go now. Don't leave me alone.
I can't live without you. Take me with you, take me with you when you go.
And I don't care about the things I leave at home.
Cause things can't really keep you company when you're alone now.
You want to burn your bridges? I'll help you start the fire.
You want to disappear? I got the manual right here.
You say you want my help? I can't help myself.
You want my help? I can't help myself.

Without RP, I would never discover this absolutely unique band. So sad that Mark passed away.
Top Floor this song is!!!
I know; I can miss things, but I've never heard this before, and its amazing.

I’m always happy/heartbroken to hear Morphine. I’ll never get over losing Mark Sandman in his prime.

I started listening to Morphine around the time Cure for Pain was released after seeing them play a gig at Toronto's Harbourfront. Cure for Pain is a great album, possibly their best, and while their intervening releases were OK, they never lived up to the promise of that sophomore release, except for this album. Dark, brooding, and brilliant. All the more sad that Mark Sandman went before his time, who knows what might have followed. RIP MS.

Anyone know if the Orchestra Morphine project is any good?
I like this song. Totally new to me but I'd like to hear more. Good choice.

Still not my opiate of choice.
very much liked this final album
I like this track, although it sounded like (another) cover of the old Hank Williams tune "Hey Good Lookin'" - that dang melodic hook that made it into the Country HoF. Anyways, I like the cool vibe on this one enough to counter-act that country twang in my head, so I'm gonna rate it an 8. Long Live RP!!
badass
9 > 10 - Just about perfection.
stone groove - gets 'a' 9 not 'an' 9 ..... corrected

Morphine was not my favorite band because I didn't really get their style. But, having read (on Wikipedia) about them, Mark Sandman, and the other band members who've gone on in Mark's memory, I appreciate Morphine much more. Funny how that works…
Too contemplative for listening to any old time, but perfect so often. Can you imagine what he'd have done if still alive? RIP.
great comment! Love Morphine

Still miss them, particularly since I took it for granted that I'd see them around town sometime, and never did . Don't pass up an opportunity to see a favorite!

Nice segue from John Mayall's "California" to this vastly superior song. Edit: one of my favorite Morphine songs.

I like so many others, missed these guys in the 90's and have discovered them thanks to RP. I have 3-4 of their CD's now and can't get enough of them. They are so cool. Can't beleive Sandman died on stage. Too tragic.

OK, how did I ever miss this band when they came around? They're really good.
Were they banned in the Deep South USA? (We do have narrow-cast radio around here.)

This tune was a nice slide from the Mayall.
This is why I listen.
Thanks for showing the kids how it was done.

Love everything Bill plays of this band. I think I'm becoming an addict.
Love that sax, only discovered Morphine once I started to listen to RP and now I am really into their music.
Wonderful. As usual.

Nice groove! One more to buy from I-Tunes!
Near the end of the song, that bass with those sax melodies are just awsome! Whole thing is a above likeable.
Great fusion of bass, sax, and strings. Awesome sax melodies with that bass riff.

Never heard these guys. It sounds pretty cool. Dark and moody but then I've been a longtime Floyd fan so why not! This song sounded like a mutated Beck with Grant Lee Buffalo. How long have these guys been around?
the slutty sax can be as addicting as . . . .

Nasty. hehe
P.S. So Bill? What's the theme with this run of songs? Great male vocals?
