I love David and I love that you played his "Pay Bo Diddley" right after hearing Bo do "Who do you love"
pay f&ck!ng Bo Diddley! .
A great song to follow a Bo Diddley song. :-D
What a great song! The medium is the message
I hate it when you say "I wonder whats on RP" so you tune in, and you get this. Logging off now.
Doin' the hand jive.

LOVES me some Mr. Dave. Please play more! Perhaps a little El Rayo X too?
Yes, Bill, please
how is this not a total infringement of "I Want Candy" ? or is that actually intentional?
nevermind.... a bit of googling shows it's intentional. and the other way around... the Strangloves used Diddley's beat.

I actually really like this. Very nice drum beat and rythms. Very funky. It sounds like I Love Candy ripped it off! Can't believe some people give this such a low rating...
Sweeeeet set.

BTW, if you are a stringed instrument aficionado and Mr. Lindley comes to play anywhere near you, GO see him. Aside from being a joy to watch/hear play, his storytelling will make you cry with laughter. A true American cultural gem.

Love, love, love David Lindley!
So worth seeing live! Just a greasy-haired puddle of guitar-slicking fun! Hooray!

First good, solid 1 I've awarded in a while.
How about if we all chip in to make this song go away?
I'd pay for that.....

David Lindley, Whackjob Extraordinaire!
Non-fatal in small doses, and rather stimulating.

Please make it stop.
So long Bo Diddley. The thick glasses. The rectangular guitar. Such a unique character from the early Rock & Roll genre. Mr. Dave is right... "Pay Bo Diddley" is his comment on the number of artists who ripped off his music & never credited him as the creator of the riff, music, etc. Rock & Roll continues to eat its young...
RIP.. thanks Bo!
Good choice today. RIP Bo.
God's speed Bo.

As long as Bill doesn spin "Born to Hand Jive, Baby" from Grease we'll be OK.
You're totally safe there, GR.

Twango Bango is an excellent album. Wally Ingram is a terrific percussionist. When I saw them play here in Austin, Wally had a Nazi helmet on his hi-hat that he used for a cowbell.
I just gotta have more cowbell.
If you ever get a chance to see these guys together GO!
I guess we'll just never stop revisiting Bo Diddley. Generations from now, no one will know why, but it'll happen just the same.
David Lindley, Weird Al Yankevic, Bo Diddley, and Bow Wow Wow all walk into a bar.....
Sounds like it's time to go get a drink
