One flight down
There's a song on low
And your mind just picked up on the sound
Now you know you're wrong
Because it drifts like smoke
And it's been there playing all along
Now you know
Now you know
The reeds and brass have been weaving
Leading into a single note
In this place
Where your arms unfold
Here at last you see your ancient face
Now you know
Now you know
The cadence rolls in broken
Plays it over and then goes
One flight down
There's a song on low
And it's been there playing all along
Now you know
Now you know

And your mind just picked up on the sound
Now you know you're wrong

Far too much Norah Jones on here.
I like her music, voice...
This was a great start for her. Here's hoping that she only improves with time.
I admit she is sexy and all that, but I have to go nap now.
I admit I was late to jump on Norah's bandwagon but I find her to be one of the sexiest females on the planet. I just hope her next tour has a stop here in the Twin Cities (missed the last one, grrrrrr)
A fantasy of mine would be to book her and the band at The Dakota (www.dakotacooks.com) for a week, and donate all proceeds to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
One of those things AFTER I win the lottery.... <-o<
With reference to comments below: The nice thing about this song is I don't listen to the radio and hence haven't been saturated by it.

Too overplayed to be 'eclectic'
Too formulaic to be 'intelligent'
Too dull to be 'rock'
Why is this stuff being played on RP?
You don't know what eclectic means.

My fiance gave me this disc for Valentine's Day. Norah's voice is silk, and the backing musicians are fine. Perfect mood and/or slinking into the couch music.
My fave song from this CD. Thanks for playing it!!
Encore Encore!
yeah, all right, sweet voice, sweet melody, piano, and so on...
But here in France it has been overplayed thus I can't bear it any longer...
Bar Iquana.
Lovely voice, nice song, but somehow just doesn\'t do it for me I\'m afraid.
Thanks, nice one !!

Question: Is it true what I heard about her being the daughter of Ravi Shankar (sp?), the Beatles east Indian influence?
Yes, it is true - she is Ravi's daughter.

Naw, I’d say it’s just fine
