I'm at the point where this song has been overplayed on RP.Good song for me,but I don't need to hear it anymore, for a long, long time.

Certainly energetic!
I hear the Rusted Root influence (along with a little Barenaked Ladies, U2, Stan Ridgway, INXS), but Rusted Root is much more appealing, IMHO. Their grooves go much deeper, with stronger musicianship and just a superior sound.
I wouldn't weep if I never heard another Janah song. Crapulence.. pure and simple.
Very pleased to find myself in such knowlegeable company. Right behind you, nausicaa, ninja_band. beherenow, and musicalbobs. Ick.

Yes, me. That's why I rated it 2. Yuck!

Good song to start the day with...catchy tune that gives you a kick in the behind...lot of energy.
My thoughts this morning - and I needed that kick. :nodhead:
Does anyone hear Bono on meth?

Or maybe a little Thompson Twins/Kula Shakar mix. I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!

And that isn't a good thing is it.

There's something in those first few lines of each verse where the meoldy (harmonic minor?) sounds reminiscent of Dave Matthews' Halloween. Or was it Don't Drink the Water.
I dunno. You can ignore me if you want.
I thought it was the Thompson Twins reunited!
Puhpoo...
Can't stop my head from bopping and my feet from tapping on this one.....

I would enjoy this song a lot more if I were drunk and dancing barefoot on a gym floor, spilling beads and tropical drink all over myself.
I think I would enjoy ANY thing in that state. :)
Well,
NOT Loverboy !
Never Loverboy, never please , never, never
I would enjoy this song a lot more if I were drunk and dancing barefoot on a gym floor, spilling beads and tropical drink all over myself.

When did XTC become bad?
I liked this song the first time I heard it, but now that I've heard it a few times it's starting to annoy me for some reason. Maybe it's the falsetto voice on the chorus. The band rips, though. You can keep playing it, I guess, but if you stopped playing it, I don't think I'd miss it. Mixed feelings on this one.

I HATE this negativity. I'll take a positive approach by noting your opinion and adding, "I fully agree with your view." Doesn't this approach make you feel better inside?
Yes- at 2:30 am chained to my computer- I NEEDED this!!!
Better than a double Americano!!
Nice. It's good to see they've got more than one good album in 'em.
I see that Amazon doesn't carry it, though they now have their first album available.
So.... https://www.rattlesby.com/store/index.html
CRAP!
Sounds a lot like XTC used to when they were GOOD!!
First one I've heard from the new album on RP. After hearing it, can't wait to buy the disc and hear the rest...
If you like this, be sure to check out World That Surrounds You (Janah's first album). *VERY* good disc!
Good song to start the day with...catchy tune that gives you a kick in the behind...lot of energy.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I can't get it outta my head!!
Like so many songs on RP this one gets better and better.
Such a happy little song...
More I say, more.
Yeah I also thought they sounded a little rusted. I like it.
