Hold me tight
Keep me cool
Going mad
Don't know what to do

Do I need a friend?
Well I need one now

All the days of my life
All the days of my life
All the days I owe you

All I've done
I've done for me
All you gave
You gave for free
I gave nothing in return
And theres little left of me

All the days of my life
All the days of my life
All the days I owe you

With redeyed pain I'm knocking on your door again
My crazy brain in tangles pleading for your gentle voice
Those storms keep pounding through my faded heart
I'll play your sooth my sorry soul

All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you

All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you

All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you

All the days of my life

This might be the worst Bowie song ever
Wow, I'm surprised at all the negative comments.
I think this song is beautiful.
Kudos to RP for playing this rarely heard gem.

Days, as in how many more do I have, is hopefully more than 12,000, which gets me to over 80.
8, is the rating on this rarely played Bowie tune.
Long Live RP and all of us!!

Thank you our friend.

Not his best, alas.
This isn't my favorite song on Reality...but the rest of the album as a whole is quite EXCELLENT... especially if you are fond of pre-90's Bowie... (he even makes fun of the stuff he did in the early 90's at his shows..he knows they weren't the greatest).. I recommend giving the whole album a listen!!
Think I'll go listen to Diamond Dogs now.....
Bowie goes M.O.R.

The other side of that coin is that a reputation built during the golden days lets the artist put out something like this that would get dropped in the dust bin if it wasn't done by a legend like Bowie. It's possible (probable?) that there is only so much 'greatness' in any great artist, and that they can "run out". This song is simply bad.
Maybe not bad... just not very good. Maybe in comparison to other (older) Bowie it is bad though. But everything else you said, I concur.

Not a bad song so long as you don't bias yourself by who this is...I always feel bad for the artists that "survive" their golden years...everyone wants to keep them there.

Saw Bowie twice in the last month. Once in a medium sized venue and then two weeks later in a small theater. Wonderful show and still an amazing talent. He may be in his "golden years" but he still puts it out there. He has not just survived, he is thriving.
Is this Bowie !? Don't like it. :P But perhaps i should hear it more...
Doesn't turn me on. Sounds like he's been listening to too much Flaming Lips.
Make it stop!! For the love of god, make it stop!

My second time through this song on RP, and I'm thinking I need to pick Reality up.
I was thinking the very same thing! What a cool new sound for Bowie. I almost forgot it was him in the beginning.

Lovely song - not a "best-ever" Bowie but a great song nonetheless.
