So why do I warn you?
I see things when I hold you,
But I've whispered it's all right
It was you and me and a long night

You're a ghost in the doorway
I can see through
But I hold tight
Understand holding till it hurts
I just want you here and you're lovely

You're a ghost in the doorway
I can see through
But I hold tight
Understand holding until it hurts
I just want you here and you're lovely

Don't worry, nothing can go wrong
Don't worry, nothing can go wrong
Don't worry, nothing can go wrong
Don't worry, nothing can go wrong

Love this track riding home after a night out
I love the Chemical Brothers, but this is such an average track by them; there as so, so many more that you guys could choose from, but they're never played...  Just saying.
It sounds like I'm on safari with Moby and Sheena Easton via a bongo party bus on the Long Island Expressway.
They should call it "Weird Cop Car Sirens Passing By".

 Wonderfully so!
Does this song last forever?

How about some ministry instead of so much Chem Bros?

how about some Ministry in addition to so much Chemical Bros

There is something very wierd about this cover. My first reaction was please don't play any of this here on RP but maybe there is a crazy solo in waiting from that double neck guitar.

Groovy!!!  Bounce
Another good track from CB.

I think this could qualify as a worse cover.

Oh, surely there's worse....

Worst Album Cover Ever

does push the button refer to the mute button?
Jacob Dahlin in a Superman outfit??!!! That's a flashback. Anything can happen on RP... themotion wrote:
cool background samples from the "gorky park" score by james horner :) ... which is a great score btw me thinks... though sometimes i think i'm the only one who likes it :-(

Rats! Only caught the last few beats, was on a phone call! This is easily the best track on the album. And yes, the cover art stinks, but the tunes are spectacular!
Whoa, there is a rave going on in my office!
That's it, I'm headin' for the clubs tonight...
PERFECT!!
The handful of live Chemical Brother shows I have seen involve some pretty surreal audio visual elements.
More Chemical Brothers, please!

A welcome relief from that crazy screamimg monkey from "smoke city". Arrgghhh! That was annoying.

If you do like the Chemical Brothers, buy this CD. You will not be disappointed. In fact, if you like this song and have never heard of the Chemical Brothers, buy this CD. You still won't be disappointed. I ended up with this album, and I have to say it's solid from start to finish. There's one weak spot at track 7, but it's not bad enough to be a stinker and the rest of the CD makes up for it nicely.
I agree. Great song, great album.

I bought this and other Chemical Brothers after several listens on RP. While I'm sure much of it is great on the dance floor, most are just way too long for average listening. Great three-minute songs become monotonous five-minute songs. Be prepared for that should you go buying.
Push the "mute" button ok maybe that is a bit harsh.....but I couldn't resist
memories of the ice storm
brings back the memories.
This is great Monday morning gettting the brain started music.
Wow. I've never really listened to Chemical Brothers, but now I'm thinking I should.
OKish. Serves well as background music, like most techno.

It happened again. Do they repeat playlists at RP?
Sometimes, it depends upon how busy B&R are. They seem to have a proclivity for putting certain songs together too. Still, even if you hear some playlists repeat, it doesn't ever get stale, IMHO.
I'm always in two-minds over Chemical Brothers' material. Tracks like "Galvanise", "Hey Boy Hey Girl" and "Believe" - are amongst my all-time favourites. This is the first I've heard of this track and I must say, it's excellent background music. It's good if you don't deliberately try to listen. Go make a cup of tea or something with this in the background. Good stuff. :goodvibes.gif:

Might have been able to rate it higher if it hadn't had to follow Rockin' Long John Baldry!

Stellar track on a great CD. Positive energy, hope and progress are imbued in every measure. Has more meaning after the London attacks, bless 'em all.
Redundant background just kills this song. Just annoying!

Just saw the title. Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? God let's hope not.

Hope you don't ever get to do jury duty....
*looks around office* Wish I could play this as loud as it deserves.

So cool, and great studyin' music!
This song is my favorite of the chemical brothers. I don't know how to describe it - it has a special feeling. Just awsome!

Are you sure that isn't Sarah McLaughlin singing? Sounds /exactly/ like her. The Anne Lynne Williams girl was quoted as saying she wrote the lyrics for them, but did she really sing it too?
From the CD: It's Anna Lynne. Sorry....

If not for the vocals, I would have guessed that this was Love and Rockets. I normally don't like this type of music, but this ain't bad.

wow, love that crazy house music with too much beat, best thing so far this year!
8) (mellower than their usual, still drivin') review
Oh no! Here's that crazy house music. Start the posts about too much beat or whatever. I like it though! :D
Anna Lynne is the vocalist, got it via google search...
mm, what a gorgeous song title.
I liked this right away- gave it a "7'" - "Quite Likeable" while it's playing - haven't even heard it all the way through yet - maybe I'll up my score later! :)
I like these guys... I wonder who the female vocalist is? I know Beth Orton has sung with them before....
