Ouch. It was great until Brian starting singing.
I like the style of this version; another vocalist would have made it great. Hmm, who should it have been?

Think I'll pass on this one. For some reason, his voice doesn't gel well with the genre. I like just about everything else he's done.

Oof. Is he trying to sound like he's been recorded and played back on a circa 1910 cylinder?

I really like Bryan, but his Taxi CD (with Robin Trower) is more up my alley.
FYI, Roxy's Live At the Apollo is one of best concert DVDs I've ever seen.

No.
No. No. No. Some songs are just too iconic to cover.

Utterly horrible. Almost as bad as McCartney's album of standards. And I love both those guys.
I like it.

Sounds like he ran a couple of laps before singing.
Been waiting for years to hear something from this great album on RP. Thanks, Bill.

Louis Armstrong or Louie Prima? It is still an "EXCELLENT TUNE! Squirrel Nut Zippers? Pink Martini? Caro Emerald? PS: I think Brian's version is GREAT!
