Pretty little thing did you feel something
Did you always want me to be something
To mend a broken a heart
From a Devil of shallow nonsense
Turned your world upside down
Whatever said that it'd mean something
Whatever said that it'd mean nothing
And did I look the part
When it's all said and done
When it's all said and done
I'm no good next to Diamonds
When I'm too close to start to fade
Are you angry with me now
Are you angry cause I'm to blame
I'm no good next to Diamonds
When I'm too close to start to fade
Are you angry with me now
Are you angry cause I'm to blame
Never wanna hide the truth from you
Just hang my head what I put you through
I wasn't good enough
When what's done is done love
When it's all said and done
But I'm
No good next to Diamonds
When I'm too close to start to fade
Are you angry with me now
Are you angry cause I'm to blame
Cause I fall away
Further than I ever was
Further than I ever was

Bumped up to an 8. This one has grown on me.
Bet these guys are good live (even if they do gaze at their shoes most of the time).
I like these guys! That is all.
This is a solid ditty

When I set my daughters up with their first cars, I told each one of them the same thing. The most important component of your vehicle is the battery. That's because, if your car breaks down but your battery is good, you can always chill to your tunes until help arrives.
I feel the same way about RP. Anytime I'm having a break down, all I have to do is park next to my computer, and chill to the tunes until help arrives. (Of course, help never does arrive, but I sure do get to enjoy the wait.)
Another example of why I happily support Radio Paradise.

I love their unique, backwards-kind of syncopation, and their atmospheric soundscapes that showcase their jamming ways!
The Tearing Me Up song is awesome. Also, it reminds of the bizarre series called "You" that I'm currently binge-watching on Netflix.
Love this. Thanks RP. (Yet) another band I may never have discovered if it wasn't for you.
Nice song. The band's name is also interesting and instructive lesson from history.
What an atmosphere - I could listen forever.

We also were evacuated for 2 weeks when our neighborhood in Calgary flooded that same year. The whole area was a muddy mess and smelled like the bottom of a river once the water receded. Lost some stuff in the basement storage, but at least our apartment was okay. We felt lucky because so many people suffered far worse damage than us. Glad we also had RP to keep our spirits up!
This song saved me from despair during the 2013 500 year flood that hit my home in Colorado. When all would seem insurmountable I would play this song in my new car (as I lost my two cars) and scream with tears coming down my face. All was better when I could face the flood after many sessions with "Diamonds". I thank you to the band and to Angry Orchard for getting us all through!!

Good tune with a great mix.
Boxers rebelling? Why? Not enough walkies or doggie treats?

Six years later and it's still fantastic!
Never thought much of these guys as Shoe-gazers, but here they literally are...

BILL! Camel Walk, Song 2, Hanging On, and now this. Further than I ever was.
We have met the enemy and they is us.

This is not a comment on the song as such, but on the image of the album. The sticker disturbs the art. Sad. Why haven't it been removed?
Saw (heard) these excellent guys unplugged in an exclusieve setting in a Hilversum studio. great!
...This song takes me to that diving platform (pictured)..leaping skyward in flight...beautiful song
Loving the new album too - play some more from that please Bill!
Wonderful, haunting song. On my favourites list :)

the ability to find song this beautiful is what makes me a lifelong listener of "Bill",... who finds this?

What is it about this song that makes me sit up and take notice? It provokes some memories/feelings that I can't place...nice.

One of those songs that always makes you (well, me!) check whether you already gave that 9 or not. Magical.
I'd like this better if the drums had more variation. In my head I can hear a much more interesting version, playing off the variations in the guitar. Yes I know there is treatment for that.
Saw these guys live a few years ago, they're really good.
Very nice!
Heard this first on RP. Songs like this keep me coming back for more.
Uh Yes....and thank you! I needed this tonight.
"Synth"-ed strings over-dominating. Still it's partway real feeling anyway. I kinda like it.
I am feeling this. Thanks Bill G and Rebecca.
Love this song. 10.

But I thought anyone who does not like something these days is a "hater"?? You sound very, well, reasonable.
I do not HATE any band. I may not really like their music but I admire their effort in actually playing instruments and making music.
I really love Boxer Rebellion the more I hear them, 8 - 9.

Sounds like the National if you played them at 45 rpm instead of 33 1/3.
Killer track. Never get tired of this.

Look out for me in the music video to this track. Great day filming in leeds....
It's like The National, but only with slightly better guitar and a singer that doesn't mumble the lyrics.
As many have said before me, it's great to discover utterly new music and bands I really like on RP. This format is so much better than Pandora its ridiculous. Bill & Co., I salute you!
7>8, next time they probably will get 9 ore even 10
these one snuck up on me, better with each new listening

...this album cover deserves like a nine in itself...
When I'm driving lately I often find myself saying: Siri play Diamonds. So I have to increase my rating from 9 to 10.
Great song. Very well done.

Top band. Deserve much more recognition than they get. Never hear them over here, which is criminal.
9 > 10
Amazing!
Amazing!
9/10 It's really deserve it
Just loving the amount of British artists that Bill plays. Far more than our own National or Commercial stations play.
Shine bright like a Diamond, Shine bright like a Diamond, sorry wrong song

This makes up for that POS Regina Spektor tune that preceded this. I'm really liking this new TBR album!

Good song. The guitars, giving credit where it's due, is from Radiohead's Airbag.
NO one did that before Airbag. It is the best guitar sequence in the history of music.

this song makes me happy for some weird reason, and i want to dance!
I'm warming to this one. 6->7
I've heard 3 or 4 of Boxer's tunes here on RP. I like 'em all. They could be my next fav band. Fabulous sound and vibe. Dance drive drink make out music.
