Day breaks in your head
And you're finally alone
I'll find a way to make it through
But it keeps raining in your heart

Time follows you around
Ticking slowly at your nerves
It's amazing that we made it through
Cause it keeps raining in your heart
Raining in your heart

Maby you should go away
If the love we had is meant to stay
Find a place to call your own
No need to roam around the rooms
That once made up a home

Day breaks in my head
And I find myself alone
Hope you find a way to make it through
Cause it keeps raining in my heart
Raining in my heart
Raining in my heart

i'm not hearing that, but i love paradise circus. bill should play that one again for sure.

Really like this one.  And I should add that I love that RP is not only entertaining but also educational.  For example, I had no idea that Norah Jones is Ravi Shankar's daughter.

I disagree on two counts. Number 1, it's uncool to make fun of peoples' names. 2, Junebaby65 should have just hit PSD.

I agree, but some would say, "why do your second suggestion when they can bring the h8 instead?"
Does the piano part remind anyone else of Paradise Circus by Massive Attack?

Not that I agree but you made yourself clear by just adding one letter to her name.  That's funny

Excellent Voice!!!
That is one seriously sexy voice...makes me recall a few really amazing experiences from my years on this rock...thanks for the memories ladies...you made this life a wonderful thing...
Love her voice. I'm surprised to hear her put an 'h' in rain.

In 2009 my wife and I took a week vacation in Seattle.  We were wandering aimlessly downtown when we ran across the historic Paramount theater and marquee showing "Nora Jones Tonight!"  We couldn't believe our luck.  We stood in line for tickets, but they were sold out.  Four couples stood at the front doors with us, waiting for cancellations or a scalper.  We were last in line, the other three couples got in - and we walked home.  We still talk about that evening, it was magical even though it didn't happen

So, you scalpered your way out of it?

Must be my mood.  I just turned up the volume, then realized I really don't like Nora ... Except right now

iransofaraway, thanks for this link:

It was interesting to see how the piece was compiled and it made the background music more enjoyable. Those who made negative comments should listen to it and realize the talent of Nora Jones. She has now moved more into singing Jazz. Always a delight.
Happy 40th B-day Nora.
Heard it on NPR this AM.
Otherwise, I doubt I would've noticed with this work from home under Covid19 quarantine thing.

And you grammar can't speak make sense or anything, isn't it?

It might make good lyrics. Write your so-so lyrics, put them through Gurgle translate and back again, experimenting with different languages, hey presto, clever impenetrable lyrics that nevertheless seem to make their own kind of sense to every listener.

Bill is on a shuffle stint today. As often happens it fits my mood perfectly.

Absolutely wrong you are. Bill never does this...
Go and listen to fake all-computerised sounds like Afro Celt Crap System if you prefer and let real music for real music lovers, Tobias.
This song plays 4 times a day and this really annoys me.
again such a crap and I switch to Accu Radio {#Frustrated}

Lenny White influenced a lot of later drummers.  It's either Brian Blade or Karriem Riggins on this track; Blade has recorded with Chick Corea, so there is that connection.

Thanks for this ref—very interesting and Norah comes off so cool, "with it" and amazingly talented. As for this song: I really like it, even with all the layering, mainly because it sounds ethereal and lets the song build and then fade out interestingly (to me, anyways).
I knew there was a reason I was dozing off.  Snorah Jones!!!

I cant stand it when they lawyer up.  Pleading the 5th winds me up too.

Ms. Jones stays true to her vocal type and style.  Emotional and full-bodied vocals.  Love it.

I agree in concept, although I think 'ruins' is a bit excessive.  For me it mildly distracts, enough to lower from a 9 to an 8.

to die for... not only her voice... the bass pattern, the keyboards truly felt, the drums as carresses and the flute in the horizon with some other dimension :)  Thank you for this  :)

it finally got to me,... i like this song
I might just have to get this album. All star assemblage.

Take another look at the Utube, she really didn't like Keef's BO, breath or familiarity, so my guess is...........no.

Watched the video... have no idea what you are talking about.  My guess is that you don't either.
{#Heartkiss} nice tune
i love this.
Norah sure does sing some sad songs, but she makes good music.
Like it! Trippy, wonderful intro! Every time I hear this, I'm surprised by how sultry, how powerful, and how uniquely hers she makes it...

Also: she's cute
