super cool, love this band.
Calling this 'indie' is an insult to the genre, nothing necessarily very wrong with it, the package is just unpallatable.
While not a huge fan of their recordings, I've seen this band twice in concert and they are really good. Catch them if you get the chance.
What a pleasant surprise to hear Mother Mother on Radio Paradise. Great choice!

Bill, perhaps that quirky voice you find this reminiscent of is Jack White. That's who I thought it was until I looked at player (and that's a compliment to them in my opinion).
Bill mentioned the "look" of this band and so I had to search for images of them. I will admit I am impressed with their discipline in maintaining a certain aesthetic when creating band photos.
I’m not usually one to play the “sounds like” game, but Guldemond sounds like he’s channeling Raine Maida.

Mother Mother! Fantastic, I saw them live last fall. They are heavily influenced by Pixies. The Sticks is my favorite album.
