Give me one reason to stay here
And I'll turn right back around
Give me one reason to stay here
And I'll turn right back around
Said I don't want to leave you lonely
You got to make me change my mind

Baby I got your number, oh, and I know that you got mine
You know that I called you, I called too many times
You can call me baby, you can call me anytime
You got to call me

Give me one reason to stay here
And I'll turn right back around
Give me one reason to stay here
And I'll turn right back around
Said I don't want leave you lonely
You got to make me change my mind

I don't want no one to squeeze me, they might take away my life
I don't want no one to squeeze me, they might take away my life
I just want someone to hold me, oh, and rock me through the night

This youthful heart can love you, yes, and give you what you need
I said, This youthful heart can love you, oh, and give you what you need
But I'm too old to go chasing you around
Wasting my precious energy

Give me one reason to stay here
Yes and I'll turn right back around
Give me one reason to stay here
Ooh and I'll turn right back around
Said I don't want leave you lonely
You got to make me change my mind

Baby just give me one reason, Give me just one reason why
Baby just give me one reason, Give me just one reason why I should stay
Said I told you that I loved you
And there ain't no more to say

O God how I HATE this obnoxious repetitive ad nauseam-crying woke singer

Oh you poor thing.
Please, go cry somewhere that your crap posing as comments will be appreciated.
... or you *could* just PSD - but then the rest of us wouldn't have the *benefit* of your studied opinions, right?

Natalie's flattening warble grates for me. Tracey's is more stable and doesn't.

Helium?

You need to expand your repertoire, Bill!

Log in and choose your favorits for a while. Love having the choice of 4 different genre and your favorits. Love RP
Oh, so this is what the non-radio-edit sounds like. I didn't realize the intro was that long; I kept waiting for it to start.
So well recorded. The instruments are razor sharp. Solid 7 for me.
Fascinating that taste in music does not change over time:
I bougth this album when I was ~15 and still like this song at 39 3/4

Totally agree 3 years later... Maybe now a song from Tracy about feeling good?

Tracy, wherefore are thou?    Would love to hear something new from her -- and see if she's kept up that impressive bicep definition!
In 1989 in Seattle my roommates were all into Tracy and I said meh. Since then and thanks to 11 years of RP I am perhaps the biggest Tracy Chapman fan.
Great song, but I've already heard it too many times for the rest of my life.   PSD.
Me three. PSD

ugh. just turn her off.
Never heard this song before, but her voice suits this so much better than for example 'fast car' if you ask me.
I always liked this song! ;-)
Nice to have different tastes (love RP for this)
