Now here you go again, you say you want your freedom
Well who am I keep you down
It's only right that you should play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound

Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
And what you had
And what you lost

Yeah, thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Yeah, women they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean you'll know, you'll know

Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions
I keep my visions to myself
It's only me who wants to wrap around your dreams
And have you any dreams you'd like to sell

Dreams of loneliness...
Like a heartbeat drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
And what you had
And what you lost

Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Yeah, women they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean you'll know, you'll know
You'll know, you'll know, you'll, know, you'll know

Heartbeat drives you mad
Remember what you had

What the hell was up people's asses 17 years ago, why all the hateful comments? This is a great cover, are ya'll deaf? And don't pretend like music back in '98 was high brow all around and this was terrible.
A strong 8 from me, might even bump it to 9

Are they playing the right version? The version on Legacy is actually quite nice, light and celtic. But when The Corrs released it themselves, they remixed it and added those awful drum beats. RP might NOT actually be playing the proper Legacy version!

Is this the lowest average rating for a song on RP ever?

Of course you need to try new spur of the moment stuff out on us! That's why we love you and your radio!

I work with my gay brother and we have radio wars- him- 'Gaydar Radio' me-Rp. I was horrified that I was listening to Gaydar when this song came on because that's what Garydar plays- really great old songs mutilated with a cheesy techno beat. I hate it.
LOVE IT!!! Just kidding! This is the very definition of a "1" track. I muted it out of embarrassment. Didn't want anyone to catch me listening to this crap.

Could this get any worse? Maybe with some kind of casio keyboarding... ouch
yes, it could be Dar Williams covering Pink Floyd
please never play this fake tribute again. if this is your idea of spending more time programming, maybe your working to hard.
That was pretty bloodless.

Loved the original. There is no possible reason for doing a dance mix version of this song. Definitely a sucko-barfo!
CRAP!!!
Oh my stars, this is bad. And not in a good way.
I always like hearing cover song live, kinda as an extra treat. But I really don't like them on the radio. I would rather hear an original song from a band or artist.
Oh my. This really sucks.
Sorry, this is terrible.
Had this been the original, it would have never been a hit.
Had to make sure I wasn't listening to Radio One.
All the great music out there and you gotta play this cheesy rap crap rip off...? Arrghhh
I wasn't so sure about it during the acoustic start, but when the dance beat kicked in, I was definitely sure. I don't like it... a complete massacre of the original.
yeah... this is just bad.
There are plenty of songs I don't like, but I actually give out very few 1's. This version of this particular song is one of the proud few. Congratulations, Corrs!
Ditto AphidA...lose this one Bill. Please!
It started out very Celtic. I wish they'd stayed with that approach and kept the dance-beats out of it. Still, at least interesting. UPDATE: The more I think about it, the less I like it.
This is marginal at best. What I would say is an amazing song, made into something unfit to listen to.
This is supposed to be a tribute to Fleetwood Mac??
What's with playing so much Corrs? As an Irishman I'm completely baffled. RP, if you're going to play pop there's an awful lot better. ditto Irish music!
Hm. They had me until they got to the chorus. Too dancey-sounding for this old fogey.
A better tribute to Fleetwood Mac would have been to not cover this at all.
There's something not quite right here...I think it's the light techno drum beat...I like everything else. The dream-like quality of the original is absent, thanks to the 'drums' A 3...
Hmmm, not exactly the same power and energy of the original. I like the Corrs but I'm not feeling this cover at all. I'd prefer not to hear this one again.
Once is more than enough for this crap.
