(More Deep Cuts of well known bands would be amazing, btw).
I have. But this one is great.
Ditto for pretty much all of American Idiot.

I just can't get over the fact that nothing about Green Day strikes me as authentic. It's like Billie Joe et al are suburban kids playing at being angry punks or whatever. All I ever hear when they start to play is Pulp's Common People playing in my head. Not because of the tune, but because of the meaning...
Dearie me. Too much overthinking, I think.
Always like sharing the Buzzcocks and the Undertones when youngsters state that Green Day is a unique rock band. I like them.
Buzzcocks was my first concert. I saw the Undertones in concert three times. And i think Green Day are great. I guess they appeal to my inner punk rocker.
Never got to see Green Day live though (come to think of it).

Lots of punks were suburban kids playing at being angry punks.
Firstly, how did you even think of that, and secondly, major points for a solid KITH reference that lines up impossibly well

Luv from Canada: 123K"Warning" is, in my opinion, a very different GREEN DAY album.
And I really love it (unlike many others here obviously :)).

Oh, I don't know . . . I think he'd be smiling.
And probably thinking, "Not bad, but I did it better."
Yes, a musical 'medley' if we were being kind but to be fair some interesting and maybe autobiographical lyrics from Billie Joe Armstrong.

Luv from Canada: 123KNext is chicken dance?
I can't frikken believe it is Green Day
Well done, I concur, scarletdancer

Yes...and no.

Something makes me think Lotte Lenya and Kurt Weill might have liked this. They were not exactly conventional.
And there's Bill, catching your wave: no, not the Door's version of "Alabama Song" but their "Moonlight Drive." Cool segue.

PROST! Man I wish I could thumbs up this more than once. BR for the win!
