I come into your life
Now I float away
Like honey in the sun
Was it right or wrong
I couldn't sing that song anyway
Oh, but darlin'
Now I remember
How the sun shown down
And how it warmed your prayin' smile
When all the love was there
You're the one I talk about
You're the one I think about
Everywhere I go
And sometimes honey
In the mornin'
Lord, I miss you so
That's how I know I found a home
That's how I know I found a home
Oh, hear the mountains singing
Lord, I can hear them ringing, darlin',
Out your name
And tell me if you know
Just how the river flows
Down to the sea
Now I wanna know
Everything about you
I wanna know
Everything about you
What makes ya smile
What makes ya wild
What makes ya love me this way
Darlin' I wanna know
Darlin' I wanna know
You're the one I talk about
You're the one I think about
Everywhere I go
And sometimes honey
In the mornin'
Lord, I miss you so
That's how I know I found a home
That's how I know I found a home
A-walkin' hand in hand
And all along the sand
A seabird knew your name
He knew your love was growin'
Lord, I think it knows it's flowin'
Thru you and me
Ah, tell me darlin'
When I should leave you,
Ah, tell me darlin'
I don't want to grieve you....
Just like a buzzin' fly
I come into your life
Now I float away
Like honey in the sun
Was it right or wrong
I couldn't sing that song anyway
Oh, but darlin'
Now I remember
How the sun shown down
And how it warmed your prayin' smile
When all the love was there
You're the one I talk about
You're the one I think about
Everywhere I go
And sometimes honey
In the mornin'
Lord, I miss you so....
If you want a taste of Tim Buckley's live genius, check out Greetings From LA. One of my desert island discs.
Thats a studio album, isn't it? Do you mean Dream Letter Live?
Sheesh. Both Tim and his son Jeff died at a young age. The things you learn from Wikipedia.
c.
getting tired of this one
now now - when your tired of Buckley your tired of life ....
I'll say it again, it was 'discovering' this song through radio paradise that made me decide to become a monthly donor a decade or so ago
Thanks for the reminder - just chipped in ten bucks...
Women! Can't live w/ or w/o, amirite?
Not a fan of "I Never Meant to be Your Mountain"? My fave TB song.
For me, it's the way he slowly drifts flat when he holds those long notes. It's a great song, but that grates on my ear. (D'ya see what I did there?)
Every time I hear the opening notes it just just makes my soul happy
And Quality!
+1 - greatness
Oh well.
Fuck.
Pain makes beauty, or something.
I believe Tim and Frank were on the same record label around this time, so it's likely they exchanged a few musical ideas and possibly even backing musicians.
Alright, alright.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
Alright, alright.
It's got a similar vibe to their sound, and other songs from that era. The clean electric guitar sound is pretty cool.
Still miss you so much, Cynaera... everybody in my hotel room loves this song...
Merely perfect.

Great song. Hard to believe it was released in 1969.
And i I echo your comment about needing this station. It is central to my music life. It is a tremendous blessing and the hours of music are a great return on my monthly donation.
Yes, yes, yes.
Back when it wasn't wrong to be sincere and sweet and kind - and a guy!

Aw, sweet vinyl ! Simply delicious.
You may need to ask the lightswitch that looks like Winston Churchill.
You'd have to have some serious hallucinogen for that. A bulldog turning into Winston, yes, but a lightswitch...?
.
For God's sake, don't get into a pissing match with the light switch: you'll lose.
This song kinda reminds me of the band It's a Beautiful Day (you know, "Hot Summer Day" which gets a fair amount of play on RP and "White Dove").
........ yes, I have 10x2
Does anyone remember which race-track it was?
