Ani DiFranco — O.K.
If you ask me
I'll say yes please to you today
So don't ask me
'cause I'm weak that way
Just don't ask me o.k.
I'm so glad we got that straightened away
If you see me walk by
You better just let me walk by
You better not bat your pretty eyes
You better not stop me to say hi
I got a sweet tooth today
So you better not cut that pie
If you ask me
I'll say yes please to you today
So don't ask me
'cause I'm weak that way
Just don't ask me o.k.

I saw her in concert once - I got the feeling from her and the audience that they pretty much hate the males of the species.
besides that, more "ahh ehh". . . than actual singing.
I tried - invested $40 plus parking. . . not a fan.
Ani is one brave woman.

An acquired taste, as indicated by the reverse bell curve. I think she\'s in the same boat as Tori for a lot of people.
I, for one, enjoy her for her honesty in the studio and the raw-ness of her recordings. This one\'s a bit off the wall.
song of the day!! yay!
More musical than much of her work, but her voice is still mightily annoying.
I honestly don\'t understand why Ani isn\'t rated higher. I really like her music.
the worst, jerry. the worst.
sheer torture.
Ani. Life. All is good.
Kind of funky for Ani.
Ani? Hate males? You must be kidding. Or projecting. If she hates anything, I think it's soul-crushing authority. I hope you can distinguish the difference.
As for the audience, though I myself am female, I've been part of evenly mixed-gender audiences of hers, and as many guys as gals were dancing enthusiastically, cheering, smiling, etc... and both shows of hers that I attended, a male actually opened for her, so there.
You don't have to like her music, but I'd like to free you from your erroneous assumption.
Jessi
P.S. Why don't the smiley icons work? Boohoo.
