But it's of her I dream
If I could sleep forever
I could forget about everything
If I could sleep forever
If I could sleep forever
If I could sleep forever
...not really (though it does sound pretty similar):
"Building A Mystery" chords: Em - Cm7 - Gm6 - Em9/Em7/Em9/Em6
"Sleep" chords: Em - G - D - A
Same chords as Alice in Chains- Down in a Hole. Leave to the Warhols to "borrow" from a good song.
........ yes
Pretty annoying.
I'm smiling

... see thread below.
RP is great. You guys crack me up.
I'm enjoying them too!
Hate to say that I agree. I like DW, but this doesn't work for me. The slight phase or chorus effect on the keyboard is slightly annoying to me.
Only really knew them from Bohemian Like You but they were so good. From them i then got into James Town Massacre (past group of some members) which i don't think we will hear on RP.
Picked it up and loved it.
Still do.

exactly my thought.....it could be about 2 minutes shorter—just cut off the stuff at the end...
I have it on my iPod and did so a couple of nights ago on the way home. When you're taking a subway to a bus to a park'n'ride, making the quotidian transition from urbs to suburbs, a vast work like Thirteen Tales... grounds you in a way that it anneals you to the numbing effect of long, dreary, managed commutes. Truth be told, virtually any good rock'n'roll can do that, but Thirteen Tales... is especially effective.
Oh sure, any chance to use the word "arpeggiated"!
Another good rationale to move from the "Walmart Nation" to Europe.
What's stopping you? The US has no restrictions on anyone leaving. Just saying...
Yeah, they're running through the chords of Building a Mystery over and over.
I listened it differently after this comment. Nice
please stop bumping/replying to Stingray's posts, that one is almost 2 yrs old. . .
I vote to 86 stingray.
Seriously, guy, ask yourself how many people see one of your posts coming up, and skip it, solely because you use large, garishly-coloured fonts, SHOUT A LOT IN ALL-CAPS, and can't spell, to boot? I would bet that it's a lot of people. I know I'm one of them. It's okay if you make posts in regular, black font, and only use capital letters at the beginning of sentences and proper nouns, people will read your posts. Maybe more people than read your posts now.

The whole "Trance" thing was really, really big in Europe and this almost kinda fits in that genre. Drove me nuts when I lived there, but I kind of like this.
Neat insight. I hadn't considered trance and the Warhols together. On a certain level, it makes sense.
It's funny, the Warhols seems to be much more popular in Europe than here in the states. Anyone have an opinion about why this is?
