Must admit. Not my favorite. Maybe because it's a rehash of an old, old song. But where else would you hear something like this?
Wow, it was over and I don\'t remember listening to it.
The opening riffs sound like a Peter, Paul & Mary song, but I\'ll be blinged if I can remember which one.
Sounds like cheesy Renaissance Faire music.
Thanks for the lyrics! Was driving me crazy trying to place this song. :)
Boy, did that take me back. I just had instant flashback to 4th grade where my teacher made us sing that part about Hey Ho nobody home ..... as a round!!
Zzzz.
I recognize the melody, it\'s an old minstrel ballad you might hear at a renaissance fair. Here\'s some of the words, if anyone\'s interested:
\"Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose
Will I ever see thee wed
I will marry at thy will sire
At thy will...
Hey ho, nobody home
Meat, nor drink, nor money have I none
Yet shall we be be ma-arried
Hey Ho, nobody home...
Ding Dong, Ding Dong
Wedding Bells on an April morn
Carve your name in a moss covered stone, sire
Moss covered stone...\"
