Kate!
An absolute masterpiece.

The "Hounds Of Love" album, and this cut in particular, changed the way I looked at music, both as a consumer and a creator. Absolutely brilliant.
Cheers,
Sigmon

when i was little my father convinced me that kate bush was a witch and i cried when i found out that she wasn't
such a cool pair of songs
Crazy conceptual weirdness that approaches melodrama. Maybe. But it's roughly 100 x billion more original and nuanced than most everything that's out there so I forgive her.
Kate Bush, you are a crazy lady and I LOVE YOU.
Kate, you can pour yourself over me anytime... 8)

I still remember the first time I heard this song. It was on CD and I thought something was very wrong with either the player or the disc until my wife told me it was supposed to do that.
Help me, baby! Help me, baby! Listen to me, LISTEN to me! Tell them, baby! OH! Help me, baby! Talk to them!

Absolutely love this song, but can tell why some folks here have a problem with it. It's meant to be listened to in sequence with the entire side of the album (yes, I bought it first on vinyl, and it's Side B, and it's called "The Ninth Wave"). If I were to pull one song out of The Ninth Wave to play for someone, it would be "Hello Earth". Beautiful.
Yes, "Hello Earth" is an incredible song.
"Look who's here to SEE you!"

You are a genius. eom

Now this is spooky! Good stuff...

I'll have to second that comment. Dude, do your research, at least know what you are talking about before opening your mouth.
Perfect fit for an \"eclectic\" rock station. I like it. This is why I listen.
This could well be the most disjointed, incoherent piece of \"music\" since The Beatles\' \"Revolution 9.\" Three words: What. The. Fuq.
Two things you can never get too much of:
1. Good Sex
2. Kate Bush
She is a goddess. I fell in love when she appeared on Saturday Night Live in the \'70s.
Please play more!
This song makes perfect sense if you\'ve been playing \"Diablo\" and watching \"The Cell\" for two or three days without sleep.
it just sounds confused to me. and NOT in a good way. this is pretty weak.

Yeah, but weird in a *good* way, I think. :D

The second part of this song scares me. But Kate does have that effect sometimes, I think...

Your comment takes a close second as being the "stupidest"
When I heard "wake up" on this piece today, it made me have a bad deja vu to Vanilla Sky :
"Open your eyes."
It's a good thing that how I feel about the movie is opposite of how I feel about Kate Bush! You just can\'t have enough Kate Bush in your life.
Wake up luv....
more!
This song has been one of my absolute favourites since I first heard it. Hearing our dreams! Thank You, Kate. ;)
It's so refreshing to hear something other than Running Up That Hill. Thanks
It's a while since this was played on here - I can't believe I only gave it an 8. Now corrected to 10.
