Whaaaat ? Maybe a bit of consideration for a suitable name might not have segredated them. Is that a subtle reference to Stevie Wonder on the cover?
Another example of presentation to appease. Great music RP. Love ya.

Yes, that would be the elitist view. On the other hand, maybe people just don't like the song. It is kind of repetitive.

This is all about musical taste. If you want to talk about narrow-mindedness, shall we start with those who just can't accept other folks' opinions? Or is that a little too close to home?

I'm perfectly fine with other's musical tastes, whatever they may be.  That doesn't mean that they are not provincial and narrow minded.

Catchy, then again I'm a sucker for low notes - bass lines, cellos, baritone sax.

Agreed, that's the reason.

I guess it couldn't occur to you that since this album is about Mali, that maybe the photo says something about kids there trying to learn some basic stuff.

Don't be so critical...it'll give you an ulcer.

What about the music, nice, heh?

Nice.  Warms me up for some reggae.

That's a shame: I dislike a lot of music but would never call this garbage.  Everybody's trying...
Like!   {#Sunny}
Bought the CD as soon as I heard this on RP. Just beautiful, and it is now the ringtone when my gf rings me on my mobile!
I love this. {#Dancingbanana_2}
I groove to this one all the time!{#Dancingbanana}

Ouch, Milan....  kinda harsh.

I laughed when I read the name of the artist. It's like, after Blur and the Gorillaz and The Good The Bad and The Queen he's run out of band names and he's reduced to using his own name. Or maybe he thought no one would recognize him in this work otherwise, because I never would have thought this was Damon Albarn. This is interesting.

This is why I like RP.  One get to hear ''foreign'' music.

Thanks! :)

The album cover is almost as good as this song. An 8 it is!

Yes, and we like it that way {#Bounce}
You don't like it, switch the station. Really simple.

I don't think negative responses to songs really matter. COULD YOU HAVE DONE BETTER?

If so, why aren't you getting any airplay? HMM?
Yet another "What the hell is Bill playing now?" songs.
Tedious....repetition drones without feeling - very predictable...ho hum to the max
This is Damon Albarn?!!  The guy from Blur and Gorillaz?!?!  The diversity of his talent amazes me.
works perfect with the sun shining on my back . . . can't really see what I'm typing though {#Sunny}
3-2= quite likable
Hmmm...I'm real surprised to see the relatively low rating for this one, especially seeing all the positive comments. ...a good solid 8 from me anyway....
A rare blizzard blows in Brooklyn...
This is great. 9
This gets a 10, if only because it's from such a great album. Now if only Bill could play "Sunset Coming On."
Oh, I read about this project of his. Very cool!

Yes, son, and you would disappear in a Mutual-of-Omaha Blur.* Better just stay put and enjoy the pseudo-experience of it all. *pun intended (see below)
"...that a way , man, it won't take long..." (repeat)
Haha. Ravenous is one of the coolest movies ever made. Really, it's everything Evil Dead 2 supposedly is - both funny and scary, violent, and a kickass soundtrack.
this song is awesome. i can't say why i love it so much; i just do. this song makes me smile inside. ^_^
Yo-way-nay, ma monay glone! Sing it, baby.

Agreed - this is the third or fourth time I've heard it and I find it quite appealing now. Somehow it fits in with the Joe Cocker-Morphine set. btw, wasn't Damon Albarn the guy from Blur?
