I need to sleep but I'm too tired
I need to come down but I'm too wired
When the sun comes up I miss the moon
Cause I know tomorrow is gonna come too soon
Is gonna come too soon

She only wants to be wanted
But time crumbles blue roses to dust
Now I long to feel the touch from your lust

Scars on your back tell where you've been
But I'll roll like the ocean if you'll blow like the wind
Sweet Texas angel what have your blue eyes seen
I'll be your country gentleman
If you will be my Mason-Dixon Queen
Queen

She only wants to be wanted
But time crumbles blue roses to dust
Now I long to feel the touch from your lust

So much sweeter than all the rest
You're what lies between pain and death
Sinners and saints call you by name
If you're gonna take the praise
You're gonna have to learn to take the blame

She only wants to be wanted
But time crumbles blue roses to dust
Now I long to feel the touch from your
She only wants to be wanted
Time crumbles blue roses to dust
Now I long to feel the touch from your lust

He sounds desperate to find a tangible rythym in all of that noise...
gee I hate to roll out that old cliche, but \"I Like his old stuff better than his new stuff\" try the Gomez Cd Liquid Gold (I think) if you like this. Ben Harper\'s a great rollerbalder though, saw him roller blade along Bondi beach when he was out in Sydney
Just discovered Radio Paradise about two weeks ago and LOVE it!! Whenever I hear something I like but am unfamiliar with, I pop up the RP box and check to see who's playing. I think I must have checked on Ben Harper every time I heard him. I think I'm going to have to get one of his CDs.

Observation is right on..probaly would have missed it, thanks for pointing it out. Have seen Travers a couple times many years ago. Love his work...hint hint. Some Robin Trower would be nice too :)

I agree Platy. Good stuff, some awesome, on every album. And even BETTER live in concert. Even those not quite into Ben Harper via recordings, would have a great time at one of his shows.
Don\'t like it much at all. Too much time in the studio, I think. So what? Nothing.
Leave it to Bill to dig out the coolest-sounding song on Ben's new album.

Not as familiar with Ben Harper as I'd like to be. Becoming more so now. Thanks, RadioParadise! 2 days later: Like It Better!
I\'ve never heard (or heard of) Ben Harper, but I like this cut. Some of the guitar sounds have shades of Pat Travers in them. (Man, did I just show how old I am, or what?)
I like the emotion he puts into his songs. I respond to the passion.
I need to check my new settings. I\'m really into Ben Harper, I don\'t really listen to his music but I appreciate the fact that he\'s making it.
