Haven't heard Paris Combo for ages! Thank you RP for digging out great old songs. Bill & Alanna, you'll never cease to amaze us! ♥
Belle is my favorite female lead singer ever. Rest in Power, Belle.  Vous avez été parfait.
that guitar solo near the end
For those of us limited to the English language, Google translate gives this:

One day when I was in my lair
Where one enters without knocking
someone took the stairs
On a little spiral idea
He was a mason, he had tender hands
And somehow he made me understand
That of the whole building I was
The neighbor he most wanted to love

So I said, "Thank you...
Thank you very much, but you see
I just moved into this apartment
Where I simply live alone!"

But at the same time I thought
I thought, I thought, I thought...

love knocked on my door
I opened, the devil take me
My whole skeleton is delighted
And that, I take to heaven...

But Senor, I have to get annoyed
For now, I have to rehash
All my lost feelings
My forgotten poles
My damaged spring

Yes Senor, I must get annoyed
For now, I have to rehash
My entire skeleton
My unsutured wounds
In my lonely heart

Your love is falling down
But me, I'm going to fall from very high
If you don't leave me the tactical time
To get back in the saddle at a gallop

But at the same time I thought
I thought, I thought, I thought...

love knocked on my door
I opened, the devil take me
My whole skeleton is delighted
And that, I take to heaven...

Marvelous!  8
I turned it up, 'nuff said.

très bon

RIP Belle du Berry.
And thank you very much.
Quel plaisir de retrouver Paris Combo !
Que le diable m'emporte !
I'm somewhat in shock. I went to Europe in 2001, my buddies had to stop at a record store in Belgium, and one of them bought a Paris Combo CD.

That I a copy of that disc and it always reminds me of the trip. It was a good idea getting the disc, one I didn't even comprehend at the time.

We all learn. This is wonderful music. Not really what I listen to everyday, but excellent just the same.

Need help fellows.
In 1994 i heard song in french language at alternative night club. The song begins with, i believe clarinet solo.Singing was really energetic almost manic, accompanied by swing/manouche  guitars, i could not distinguish vocals, could be female or male.Only thing i remember, was a refrain, not sure if i get this right, singing (j le foulie, and then ooo...).Please help me identify this song, i need to hear it again. Thank you

Kind of annoying actually....
Used to hate it now I love it.

Such is the way with different music.
or music out of our comfort zone.

We can still learn.
Like it! Really gets the feet a tapping! Makes me think of warm sunny places, even on a cold, clear mid-winter Rocky Mountain night...

How did they get away with that bell-end costume design?  I bet they laughed every day making that show.

I remember Erin Gray's character and attire, but I don't remember robots and computers on that program.
Where else but on RadioParadise would I have ever been exposed to this fantastic group?  Thanks so much, Bill & Rebecca!

Senor

One day I was in my cave
Which anyone can enter without having to knock
Someone took the stairs
Which are winding upwards nicely
He was a mason, he had tender hands
And so he got me to understand that
In this entire building I was
The only neighbour he would like to love

So I said, "Thank you...
Thank you but you see
I've just moved in into this apartement
Where I live alone all by myself, just like that!"

At the same moment I thought
I thought, I thought, I thought
Love came to knock on my door
I opened, curse me
My whole skeleton is excited
And that, I will take it to paradise

But Senor, I have to be upset
For now, I have to pull myself together again
All my confused feelings
My forgotten poles
My broken sphere
But Senor, I have to be upset
For now, I have to pull myself together again
My entire skeleton
My unsurtured wounds
And my isolated heart

Your love comes just at the right time
I, I'm going to fall from high up
If you don't give me time to think about a strategy
And to get back into the saddle gallopping

First time I've ever heard of this band.

7.  May rate it higher on my next listen.  Very nice.

When this played in foobar2000, the ñ character was garbled.  Seems like there's an encoding issue here.

I love listening to Paris Combo. AAMOF, I enjoy listening to most female vocalists singing in French.

I think the singer snorted

That's news to me.  I thought he had a couple of partially paralyzed fingers, not missing ones.

Update:  A quick trip to youtube shows a third and fourth finger, not really doing their share, but there nonetheless.

I didn't want to like it but then the guitar solo kicked in... it started growing on me then.  I was bopping along by the end.
