Without James RHCP wouldn't have that funky bass.....just sayin'. Usually I try to have tolerance when people don't like artists I like, but saying James isn't music is INSANE. INSANITY. I could see saying you don't like his music, but just all out implying he has no talent is crazy. I don't like Elvis for the most part, but I'll give credit when credit's due. He was talented, but I'll still pass on him.

It may sound common to some, nowadays, after about everybody has ripped off the Godfather of Soul (etc.), especially since the sampling technique came along, but this was truly revolutionary at the time. As far as I'm concerned there's still nothing like it!
James Brown was surely one of the musicians who forever changed the face of music.
