I just melt when this song plays….i loved it the first time I heard it and it still makes me pause and breathe.
There’s something so melancholic and completely soothing—if not a bit sad — about it.The harmonies and rhythms are magical to me.

Man, those drums... ta ta du ta ta ... I love it. Turn it up.
Great band. Like to hear more by them. “Mass Destruction” is a particular fave. It has the vocal dexterity of hip hop, and a devastating beat that relentlessly coerces my body into involuntary motion.

Over here in Europe they are pretty popular.... Great Band. They once played in the Forest Theatre in Brussels. The Meteorologic institute nearby noted a small earthquake during the concert. I consider them in the same catogory as Massive Attack.

Always loved Faithless but in my opinion this album and "To All New Arrivals" were my least favorite of their discography. "The Dance" is their best, though! Wish I got to see them live one day...

Great stuff, RP! Always glad to hear Faithless and this song is a particular favourite.
Although Faithless are perhaps best known for featuring Dido on vocals, the singer on this track is a lady called Zoë Johnston. I think you'll agree with me that she does have the most incredible voice - silky, sultry yet with a perfect clarity and pitch.
If you can get to see Faithless live please do - they are such a great live band.
Until I read your comment, I would have bet money that the female singer was Sarah Mclachlan. But yes, Zoe Johnston does indeed have an incredible voice!
