I like it.  It kind of grew on me.   Thanx RP!

I've been a fan of TGU since the first album.  This a great merge of Modern and traditional.  This is not even a great track by them...just solid.  Seen them a few times as well as Natascha Atlas former full time singer.

Love and joy all the way.
I love the distribution on the ratings chart.   Love it or hate it.  And that is oK.
Ali mullah knower, cognizant of God

This is so joyous.
I love this - personal taste. But oh that album title!!
My 8yr old loves singing and dancing every time it comes around on My Favourites.
Sorry I can't get rid off the images of choregorafic stereotypes of acotrs and acrtess smiling, and neck dancing movments. I know I'm wrong but... What can I say?

'all he wanna'... what?
this is kind of trippy

it's that repetition, put you in a trance .

In some ways, it's similar to repetition styles in: Dylan songs, the Dead, Jessica by Allmans, Layla, and especially some jazz tunes ( Miles and Coltrane and Tyner).

This Ali mullah is one popular individual.

That doesn't seem to be what you need.

Holy cow, those "1" ratings.  Some listeners not liking the Middle East tunes.
I was driving through Saudi-Arabia some weeks ago with my father who introduced me to Radio Paradise. Local radio was kind of meh so i turned Radio Paradise on on my smartphone while connected to Bluetooth with the car audio.
We were driving through some rural forgotten area called Jibal Hisma, only desert and crazy mountain landscape, when this song came on.
What can I say except that it was an awesome experience.
Do I need a flying carpet?
Man,  Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a unique voice, check out his track on the World of Music Sampler CD from 1997 (some good stuff on it)

Turn off mainstream media.

I'm surprised at the number of "1" ratings.  I suppose most folks in the west haven't been exposed much to Indian music.  (I know the group does a wide variety of world music, but this is pretty solidly from the subcontinent.) An 8 for me.
There you go again, challenging us to stretch.  Love that about RP
Mesmerizing
Holy heck, that is one snarky album title!
Bill:
After many years of listening this is the first Transglobal Underground track I've heard you play.    The early years are the best.  Play lots more!
Is it me or does this sound like the opening to "Inside Man"?

Does anyone know whether Natacha Atlas is the prominent female vocalist in this?  Her voice reminds me of the amazing vocals at the end of Faye Tucker (the Indigo Girls' song on Come On Now Social) -- could this be the same person?  Now I want to hear Faye Tucker!

I believe this is an Natacha Atlas Track, but maybe one of her last ones before going on to a more solo artist focused career.  I met her in Paris in the 90s while she was touring her first solo album.  We were in the same hotel.  She's a peach, Super nice.

Extraordinarily so. But the first step is admitting you have a problem. In the past year, how far have you advanced down the road? Are you listening to more global music? Have you met anyone that doesn't look just like you? Are you trying to be open to different viewpoints and ideas?

113 people rated this a 1?! Why?!
I for one am grooving on my chair :)

Pretty brainwashed, I'd say.  This is reminiscent of traditional Indian music, prevalent in BaliWood extravaganzas, belly dancing classes, and my favorite Mediterranean eateries!

That's a pretty big swathe of the globe it reminds you of, from the Med all the way to India (or possibly Bali in Indonesia?). I guess with a name like 'Transglobal' they'd be pretty happy with that.

{#Lol}  If in Bollywood the dance scenes are the 'dance' scenes then the divorce scenes must be great.

Actually, there are no divorces; just kitchen fires.
Not a fan.
Pressing the Skip button.
10 from me! Die haters!

So good, I love oriental music so much.
In an odd way this reminds me of Gary Glitters "Rock'n Roll 2".  Simple yet moving.
Transglobal Underground is an English electro-world music group, specializing in a fusion of western, Asian and African music styles. Their first four albums featured Natacha Atlas as lead singer, and their single "Temple Head" was used in a Coca-Cola advertising campaign for the 1996 Olympic Games

Depends which side of the payment you're on.  But yeah, it still seems - not right.  Love the song.

I never met you, Cynaera, but I miss you!
Great song, super trippy if you allow it to enter you lol. Can partially understand the hate but damn, this is great world music stuff

Natacha Atlas! Yes.Yes.Yes.
Better lyrics than rap.
Love it this world music... love Natacha Atlas too.

Fantastic, love how elitists give "1" for this interesting ethnic tune. You can always PSD to your favourite Yorke, Bono, Lennon & co. you know.
Oh Radio Paradise, I love you so much!
A day late, but Happy Diwali 2018
Thumbs up RP! Music all around. The diversity in the playlist is like no other. Love it. Keep it up.

you rarely hear that level of intensity with western singers' voices.
