Will you put my hands away?
Will you be my man?
Serve it up, don't wait
Let's see about this ham
Oh, what happened?
Home spun desperation's knowing
Inside your covers always blown

Great to hear them back in the RP mix, been a long time.
Fantastic song on a fantastic album imo. One of my top 10 albums from the aughts/noughties, no question. Thanks RP!
Glad to get to hear this in my Favorites Channel - LLRP!!
Chopsticks has more melodic complexity.
Nice one. I always have to check who is playing when they're on and I always enjoy my time with them. Interpol aren't heard much on RP, but I understand they're a pretty influential bunch.
Very recognizable voice. Intense and somewhat desperate. I love it.

It would be nice to get a little more Interpol airplay here on RP - possibly it is a bit too East Coast...
Far from the best song on this fantastic album, but I'll take what I can get!
sounds like Durutti Column
One of my favorites bands :)
Great song. Reminds me of my wild days in NYC.
Good follow up from U2. I was really looking forward to seeing them with U2 this summer.

What's a HOWDOWN? I just know that I like it. Talent.

no wonder I love RP so much!
This is one of my favorites by Interpol. Sometimes RP sounds so much like my iPod, it's spooky.

Maybe the way to find a place to sleep after a heavy party ('how to come down')?

Howdown, brown cow?
I thought the phrase went "How now brown cow"

Soft, thinking, intelligent music, that doesn't sound like someone's had too many drinks and is looking for the closest howdown?

Interpol is the classic "want to like them" band. This one's my favorite so far. 7.

I really want to like them, but I just keep thinking 2nd-rate Joy Division. This song ain't bad tho.
ditto, if they had been around in the early 80's they would have faded away with all the other couple-of-hit gary numans. not over the top enough to have a cult following like kraftwerk or devo. posers w/ thin ties and mascara.

Can't we have this and a hoedown, too?
This is my favourite Interpol's song.

If you haven't checked turn on the bright lights I highly suggest you do! It's amazing.

Very Nice!!!
Lovely!
Great song.

Sounds like Interpol is channelling "Ghost in the Machine"-era The Police. Not that that's a bad thing, if done right.
Good song.
The Police? I'm thinking James.

Out now (of course). An equally strong effort, to me. I've uploaded a few songs already (one accepted so far, one on the LRC I think) so we'll hear new stuff here sooner or later.

I agree! I love the CD. I'm curious whether the next one will be as strong. Anyone know when they're going to release a 2nd album?
Late September i believe
A Modern Joy Division.
Sometimes this guy does sound like Ian Curtis.
Not bad....
BTW - Speaking of Joy Division - they should be represented in this block along with Nine Inch Nails!!!!!

Well since I uploaded this one I figure I'll leave my stamp!
This is a great song, while it's a bit heavy for some of the RP stuff, I think it fits great into a segment with lots of energy -- The buildup is superb and the band has great electricity.
Nice upload. I like these guys. They have a little Psych. Furs flavor to them.
