i went to see him in orange county at a restaurant club called the strand. we had a table and then decided to step out for a bit. came back they had given our table away. the waitress asked us "would you be ok sitting onstage next to his amp?" of course we said yes!! . ** later bc i was even more of an idiot than I am now, got caught racing down the long beach freeway and didnt go to jail smh
one of the coolest moments of my life -- i got to sit by his amp onstage at a shew around 1989. it was awesome
One of the most talented guitarist on the planet...He is / was, also the lead with Deep Purple...Hope he returns...
2:12 doesn't do this masterpiece justice.
Lovely. Not long enough.
good to hear some instrumental stuff. There are a few other Steve's with worthy output. Hackett, Howe, Hillage... to name a few.
Good to hear some instrumental music. A few other Steve's also make cool stuff too. Steve Howe, Steve Hackett, Hillage... among others.
And Deep Purple....
After Dixie Dregs dissolved, Mr Morse became a commercial pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines. Didn't last long; he was called up to be guitarist for Kansas. He still flies out of his Ocala house with adjacent runway.
I like this album cover... Using the power of the 90s to drill the crap out of a blurred out Famicom clone.
Adrian Legg says hello.
So nice to hear this side of a fantastic guitarist who I typically associate with his work with the Dixie Dregs, Kansas and Deep Purple. A well-rounded musician to be sure.
What can Steve Morse NOT play? Brilliant guitarist and composer.
Steveā¦ well this album could be played more frequently here. Met him and have seen him several times. Great guy.
I saw the Dixie Dregs back in the '80s... Steve Morris is amazing then, and amazing now
Thanks Bill! Love me some Steve Morse! I remember he was nominated guitar player of the year several times by Guitar Player Magazine in the early 80's. Finally got to see Deep Purple, forgot the year, at Mardi Gras in Galveston, TX. Steve Morse was with them then. Little Feat also Played! F an A! What a show!

Reminds me a bit of falling water. Quite good, IMO.

Does anybody know if he named this song after Modoc, the elephant? There's a few books out there about this true and amazing story of a boy and his elephant... Just wondering, as the music kind of suits it!
Niiiiiiiice ...... thanks.
Nice music to read a book with.
Very nice. Takes the edge off an otherwise enraging workday
oooooo yeah!
He reminds me of Michael Hedges. Good show!
Great to hear Steve Morse on RP. This guy is an amazing guitarist.
Great to hear this - - Morse has nice touch, and great phrasing as a guitarist.
