Lyrics:

As you walked away
A strand of hair came undone
And was reflected in the sun
And everything was orange

As you disappeared
The shadow of death came undone
And was reflected in the sun
And everything was orange

They have begun to celebrate
The tidal wave they think is great
The ever-beating heart that it wasn't

They have begun
They have begun
They have begun
To assassinate the sun

As you died in the night
A million stars formed into one
And became another sun
And everything was orange

And now this horrible machine
Churns out pain instead of love
And looks just like the sun
And everything was orange

They have begun
They have begun
They have begun
To assassinate the sun
Lips are doing a song for the "Spongebob Squarepants" soundtrack.
Sappy
8) a bit like Grandaddy too...
And to think: I used to despise listening to the Flaming Lips ... . Ah, well -- I guess we're all terminally stupid about something at some point.
saw them in concert with Beck. What a great memory. So much fun. I know of no other band that has such skill with weaving metaphysical with a relatable emotional feeling. Beautiful interesting stuff
Wayne's voice grates on me. But musically they are pretty spectacular.
All hail the Lips. First time I'ev heard this song, and it's beautiful. Way to pair the Lips with the Chemical Bros. Great set.
Like fingernails on a chalkboard.

this band is just so cool. so talented. you never know what they are going to come up with next. i like that none of their stuff sounds the same.
Check out the theme song for Duck Dodgers in the Twenty First and 1/2 Century on Cartoon Network. Yep, it's the Tom Jones singing a Bond-worthy big production number backed by... you guessed it!
