Probably!
It's not bad, but I was bored by the end of the song.

Better than that horrible Joplin version.
Disagree. Joplin rocks. This one ain't no snoozer either.
It's bringing me down, man...
Just not a Taj Mahal fan. This started out kind of interesting, but it just doesn't add any value. Just give me the Janis version!
I just don't like this tune...
I was just singing this one to myself as I cut my lawn... ...Thinking about how the church totally freaks out about sex but sees very little wrong with people wanting more money. You hear that God will bless you with all the luxuries if you give to the church... Jesus said almost nothing about sex. He was too busy making scathing remarks to self-righteous religious types ("You brood of vipers! You white-washed tombs!") and telling rich folks they've got about as much chance getting into heaven as a camel getting thru the eye of a needle...
The song itself is great - any cover rocks.....
This man is really taking this song (which is a satire on how cheaply people regard their religion) way too seriously.
Great cover. I love the Taj. But Zia does this one best.
I like Taj this way, and I like him with the full, big blues band sound, and I even like the kids songs he's done. My three year old agrees - and occasionally breaks into the "Funky Bluesy ABC's." Taj is a versatile talent, and cool enough to do his thing without worrying about it.
Very cool rendition. Taj's voice is perfect for this song.
Better than that horrible Joplin version.
Come on.
