Seems worthy of a higher average 🤔 😊
Definitely a +1 for cool band name.
love the cover art.
Hmm… Madonna? Kylie?

Anyone else hear Martha and the Muffins?
I seem to have crapped on this song many years ago, but my impression has changed. I love the intro - sounds like an action sequence from a "Blade" movie.

One of the best movie scenes ever:
The cowboy/pilot Major T. J. "King" Kong is kicking against two huge nuclear bombs that are stuck in the open bomb bay of his B52 bomber.
The first bomb is labeled "Hi there!".
The second bomb is labeled "Dear John".````

I heard the first few notes of a "Ministry" song as this tune began. Hey BillG, add "Jesus Built My Hotrod"?
Shoot, a feller could have a pretty good night in Vegas with this stuff.

This song sounds great when you have a really good car stereo!
Thought this was Prodigy's Narayan for a moment at the beginning.
Oh wow. Thank you so much! It's been . . . way too long since I've heard this. Straight back to summer of 2000 and I had this on a sampler cd from a virgin megastore. Wow.
At first I thought it was KMFDM, and almost couldn't believe.

Supreme Beings of Leisure? Did they plagiarize Jerry Harrison's self-titled album "Casual Gods?"
Strange, very strange, nothing like addiction though. Liked the intro very much. The voice? A lot less...
First time ever that I've encountered '1' songs back to back on RP. It was a nice 4-year run, though.
It starts off so strong! And then the singing starts... Oh well.

YEAH!
oh come on, you know you love that part where it sounds like Agent Smith from the Matrix
Ok, that's something for me.
Solid 7 on first approach.

One of the funnest albums I've heard in a while, although it was a while ago that I first heard it.
This song has some amazing sampling and low-freq effects if you listen to it on high-end audio gear.
Almost hits the brown note.

That would be from the ecstacy, not the music.

Oh yeah! One of the first peculiar albums I purchased when I initially joined RP. Never would have done so if not for RP!!
yuck its the first time a song on RP is really annoying me.
Love the Sleeper-ish album art. Is that Diane Keaton in the ball chair?
Edit: Madonna-ish sound. Got to admit, it's growing on me.
Damn this is so bad I had to wake up to turn it off.
too POOFY,kinda softly spoken, but too damn disco feeling. grab your extacy and glow sticks.

Things were going great until the vocals kicked in. Great intro and then downhill from there.

The first few time I heard this on the radio I thought I heard "Strange Malediction" which does have a pretty groovy ring to it as well.

What's the deal/effect with the drums? It pervades the entire album like some idee fixe(sp). Good album. An RP inspired Amazon purchase.
Hey! Get your Mojos straight!

... yeah, save it for the "faceplant in really sharp skrie" scenes.
Hey Bill, is this a 12-step mix?
Always loved this song. Great to hear it here. :)
I can't stand these overly computerized sounding crap. Just a bunch of random mixes and noises.
oh god -- RP is getting steadily and steadily worse

Yes, I can picture someone tearing down a rockface or something.

Great song. Very well produced; if you've a large sub in your trunk/house, crank this one - you won't be dissapointed.

i'm in. love the song. a twitchy groove.
What that f... is this? It's very very good!
Or is it my momentary mood?
This song kicks a** and I can't figure out why it gets a 6. ? Maybe some of the RP listeners have a bias against techno dance? This is not your typical. This thing rocks and is smooth-but-powerful and very well written musically. The production is awesome. 9
Love the cool/soft/sensual vocals on this - typical of the electronica genre!
This song is cookn!
oh yea baby!

Are they related in any way to the Lesser Mortals of a Bit of Time Off?
Groovy
I feel like I should suddenly be able to run up walls, jump from rooftop to rooftop dodging bullets, and perform complex martial arts moves without practice.
Oh, and I'm putting on my sunglasses.
The sees-tem... is down.
Love SBOL... wish to hear more of them someday soon. I prefer the other version of this song though.

This is a song that I would actually groove too. Very well done. Love the singer and the beat as well.
