What's all this got to do with this post? The Stills are yet another band that I have never heard of, would never hear of in Syracuse NY land dominated by radio stations that suck and university radio stations that have no originality! It all comes down to music and exposure folks. If you know this site well, it is an informational giant for finding and buying music. It also plays a great deal of the classics that we all love from our earlier lives. I love RP and what it has done for me.

Thought this worth bumping. Nicely stated.

That's an interesting comparison, I had never thought about that....but I will admit to loving that song you mention, and Fleetwood Mac in general, I would say it's for sure true that Buckingham's guitar style affected me for sure....as an aside, I have an original copy of the Buckinham/Nicks debut....which I'll admit I bought at the time because of the picture on the cover, but then I loved it too, BONUS!

Hopefully it's about ultimately whatever fits for someone listening to it....I've always had trouble with videos for the reason that they tend to replace whatever interior movie someone has while listening to music, with basically a salesman's (label's) attempt to sell them the music....so a song could be about whatever someone wants it to be.... For me it has to do vaguely with corporate culture, but that's just me....I guess it would be fair to see it as someone who is seeing the way corporations infiltrate our lives, is growing up, though I would say I've felt this way for a VERY long time.... In any case, I hope you liked it.....

I should note that "STILL" (me) and "The Stills" are different entities. Though we have spoken and are friendly, I'm just me, and they are on Vibe I think... But I agree with everything you said about RP, and I support them and others like them, as well as appreciate THEIR support to me, it's not an easy time to be in music, while it's also a great time! Man, AWESOME all the kind comments....I really appreciate it! I've been playing around out of country and other places with a more well known artist trying to subsidise my habit of making CD's on my own...and I haven't checked in for a bit, it really made my day to come by, thanx!! Coupla quick things...I just about had a heart attack when I read the bit about Amazon, when I checked Amazon sells them for 15.99, but every reseller of used ones sells them for like $30.00 or higher!?!? Dunno how that works but it's pretty odd....here's a search number to try on Amazon if you use them - B00008OTM5 - and of course I have the CD from me here. I've been thinking about an idea - I haven't talked to Bill about this (haven't talked to him for a while actually, very happily they have really taken off and he's a busy guy) - anyways - I'm gonna make an offer to those who go so far as to get here and see it....normally the CD is $12, but for RP listeners who come to my site to buy it (it's the only way I could make this work) I'll give it to you for $10, BUT I will also send $2 of that to radioparadise.com. Not because I'm trying to pull something, but because they have been really cool to me and I've been thinking about how to give something back to them as well as support the format. If there's a problem with this somehow let me know, but I hope this will work out for them as well...so if you order it from me directly, make sure you put in a note or in the comments if you use PayPal that you're doing the Radioparadise deal, that way I'll know you read this, since it's the only place I'm putting this out there.
