You stood by me in my darkest hour
You gave all of yourself in my timeless hour
And when I was down in bad times
You called to me in the night
And you eased my mind
And I'm here to tell the world that I know
There ain't nothing like a woman with soul
Now when I was lyin' on the sick bed
You stood beside me with a wet bath
And you bathed my forehead
And Ive got to tell the world that I know
There ain't nothing like a woman with soul
I want all the people to know
There ain't nothing like a woman with soul
I never now how I lived without you
'Cause you give so much of yourself
That's what I love about you
And I've got to tell the world that I know
There ain't nothing like a woman with soul
Got to tell the people to know
There ain't nothing like a woman with soul
Like a woman with soul
You gave all of yourself in my timeless hour

Ya, wish I could sing like that, even if only in the shower!
Ooh, sing to me in that deep, deep voice. *sigh*

I love this CD - I bought it back in the mid nineties. It's definitely on my list of albums to take to a deserted island....
Oh yaa...what a great groove...it's workin' for me.
Great tune, but sadly not available to download as an MP3 from Amazon, and I don't do iTunes. GRRRRRRR!

One of the greatest Australian bands ever. At their peak no one could touch them live!!!
To think I used to see them for free at the old Evil Star.... ahh those were the days
If this is to your liking check out the album Three legged dog

what's happened to tex of late?... i always thought he'd make a great replacement frontman for INXS...
...caught them at Byron one Blues Fest...great vibe..
He's been very busy, what with his side project with Tim Rogers, plus new Beasts of Bourbon album Little Animals due early 2007
Great to see the Cruel Sea on RP!
Excellent live performers!
That's a soul man song, a plain soul song ,and now a woman soul song.
That's all the levels of soul I know. it's hard being unsoulful.

almost cool, but. . . . .in the end. . . . predictable and boring.
