Chocolate. Kisses. Pokemon
Hit em while they're young
It's true - ahha
She needs lovers round the block
He works around the clock
It's true - ahha
I know it's gonna make it better
Just know it's gonna make it better
We can hold the light of grace
Instead we flake and choose to lose

T.V. Football. Sex and killing
Without love, life's not worth living
ahha
we play our games with knowing smiles
unattached we can choose
we choose to lose it everytime

Now were heading for a fall
And a double takes it all
A stranger rolls a double 5
And everyone's a junkie
Everyone's a junkie
Everyone's a junkie
Everyone's a junkie

I know it's gonna make it better
Just know it's gonna make it better

I'm so wound up in my own ball
I loved my life so small
I've lived my life so SMALL
I've done my best it's time to crawl
SIDEWAYS
To crawl SIDEWAYS
To leave this apparition
To leave this apparition doll
Cos everyone's a junkie
Everyone's a Junkie
Everyone's a junkie

Saw James live with WOMAD in the mid-90's (+ pg + crowded house + drummers of burundi + shankar + stereo mc's... an eclectic musical time indeed). He sang half of the songs through a bullhorn. I still don't know why.
I saw them on that same tour (in Saratoga, NY). I believe it was '92 or '93. And for some reason James was relegated to the side stage instead of the main stage. Great show, though, bullhorn and all. Pretty good tune.
Gotta get this!
Monotono.................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

kinda reminds me of Soft Cell. their spooky stuff like "Martin"
The verse sounds more like Duran Duran's 'Ordinary World' than is strictly necessary.
I'm playing at a pretty low volume here, but this sounds pretty cool.
Seg from Travis to James. A very latteral move. Not only are they bands with only a first name, they also sound almost the same. I thought it was the same song until I checked the ticker. Good stuff, though.

Hey not bad! I like it very much, and that don't happen often. I see I'm the first to give this song a 10. So where do you people fall on the whole "what to rate" debate? I don't give anything but 1's and 10's, based on whether I want to hear it again or I don't. Some of these new kids songs have such low scores, and I'm really scratching my head at times. On the other hand, "Just My Imagination" by the Tempations has almost a cumulative 9 rating, and although I think it's great, my reaction to it is decidedly "eh." I would never accuse, but I think some of you guys give high ratings to "classics" because you don't want to come off looking like uncultured rubes. Not that I have any evidence to support the accusation; it's just a theory.
