[Dido]
You can sleep forever, but still you will be tired
You can stay as cold as stone, but still you won't find peace
With you I feel I'm the meek leading the blind
With you I feel I'm just spending wasted time
I've been waiting
I'm still waiting
I've been waiting
I've been waiting
I've been waiting
I'm still waiting
But with you (with you)
It's always one step too far
One step too far
You can whine to the bone but still you won't be full
You can look down on the world but still you won't find love
You won't find love
[Maxi Jazz]
Only with mellow
Are you thin enough to slide through.
If the sun or the moon should give way to doubt,
They would immediately go out.
One swallow don't make a summer,
But tomorrow has to start somewhere.
Only with mellow
Are you thin enough to slide through.
Only with mellow
Are you thin enough to slide through.
Don't Let nothing ride you
Only with mellow
Are you thin enough to slide through.
Don't Let nothing ride you
One swallow don't make a summer.
[Dido]

Dido? On RP? Noooooooo!!! What's next, Jewel?

Hey, you stole my comment.
Marginal. Dido's voice doesn't really cut it IMHO - she is pretty easy on the eye though.

I think the kiddie porn below is even worse than this song! Who stuck the head of an adult on the body of a 12-year-old child?
Yeah that's a horrible picture :P

Something for those of us with ears! Yay! What a relief after the Queen-Bowie Axis of Evil.
This is only marginal until the rap kicks in. Then it truly sucks.
I think I prefer the version of this song from Faithless's Outrospective album. This one feels a little trippier and I prefered the darker atmosphere of the original.
That said, its still a great track. And I only discovered Faithless after hearing "Evergreen" here on RP, which is another fabulous track.
Faithless. Gotta love!
Thank you RP!
A perfect 10!
Thanks RP! I like this one.

Is this Dido or Sissel Kyrkjebo? I can't find any info... doh.
Dido
AAAHHHHHHHH!!!! That insipid vocoder! Kill it kill it kill it kill it kill it!!!!!
Almost as annoying as my ex-wife. Certainly more annoying than Ryan Seacrest or spam for penis enlargement snake oil.
Does the fact that the MC is a buddist, rhymes about positive life experience and is part of a generally all around solid group (Faithless) disuade anyone from complaining about rap on this song?
I'm going to complain that there's DIDO on this. Sorry, she seems like a lovely woman, but she simply cannot sing. Every note that comes out of her mouth sounds flat.
Nobody's complained that there's rap on this yet. Oh, but this is only the second comment. I'll wait...
I think it's pretty good, and I don't usually care for Dido. So I rated it "pretty good."
NICE!
