Don'cha just LOVE how music oozes and seeps across borders and cultural boundaries? Cuban jazz is one thing. Afro-Cuban jazz was one expansion, and here's another just by adding a ska beat—and messing a bit with the horn arrangement. All it takes is one visionary to ask, "Why don't we just add...?" I have no idea if it has any staying power, but this is great stuff.
