Been waiting for years for RP to play some Strunz & Farah. Their album Primal Magic is superb. Tremendously eclectic group.
Today as well ! ;)

Love how the playlist flowed from Peter Gabriel Don't Give Up to this song. Excellent mix of the bass line!

Mixed Function Oxidase?  Multi-nation Force Observer?
I really like these guys, but the music has tended, if you listen to a lot of it, to sound very similar, especially the way the songs end which, in my opinion, can get tedious, leading to disappointment.
(did I use enough commas?) :-)

Has anyone tried to upload anything from their Primal Magic Album? That was a great one.

Should've figured it'd be a grey-haired old guy in the photo playing guitar.  But where's Ms. Fawcett?

wonderful music........ for a restaurant or a mall
Probably only for a restaraunt, at least here in the U.S. Studies show that for maximum activation of the shopping response in the average American mall consumer (12 to 18 years old) you need something more on the order of "house music" coupled with easy availability of substances containing lots of sugar
heck yes!
This is just plain delightful!
wonderful music........ for a restaurant or a mall
Grasias, Amigos
Can't he play any faster?
Not exactly Manitas De Plata, or Sabigas.
It is enjoyable to listen to, though.
While I appreciate the instrumental prowess demonstrated this just boors the every loving crap out of me. Maybe it is the overt formulaic nature of this.
This tourist trap kinda songs sometimes make me think ... why?? Oscar
De seguro que tiembla la tierra! Its sure that the earth is gonna tremble! Tremendo temblor Tremendous earthquake
Pleasant enough listening, if a little bland and in-one-ear-and-out-the-other. Strange title, though - this sure doesn't sound at all earthquake-like ;-)
Nice!

Exactly! This is the worst of the so called "World Music" genre. It's banal, bland homogenized mall music for tourists. I hate this stuff! I don't care how many trills and arpeggios etc you can squeeze into a bar-this is not good music!
Flamenco fuzak with conservatory chops.
What a pleasure to the ears!
Never heard this before, but I wouldn't mind hearing it again. Fine guitar playing.
Another terrific piece of work from these guys. That's two for two.
I hate this. Generic Mexican guitar showing off for its own sake. Never mind a coherent, cohesive overall composition or structure. Can do without showoffs. Whenever possible, run in the other direction.
mega pleasant...dancedancedance
dancin' along a warm tropical shoreline with a cold margarita...
I saw these guys play in Toronto at the Bamboo Club in the early 90's. They were amazing. During songs they trade the lead and accompanying parts back and forth, and if you weren't watching them there's no way you could even detect the switch...
Um, could you guys play those guitar parts a little faster? Naw, they're cheating, they're using nylon strings. :)~
Unmistakeable Stunz & Farah. If you're new to them, "Heat of the Sun" is solid all the way through, a great album to start with. Thanks for the upload! S&F + RP = Happy Union
I thought I was listening to CHET BAKER! Nice song!
picking salsa. Great! Makes me dance.
excellent! that's some smooth finger pickin'...
Thank you!
