Did you ever think of me
As your best friend

Did I ever think of you
I'm not complaining

I never tried to feel
I never tried to feel this vibration
I never tried to reach
I never tried to reach your eden

Did I ever think of you
As my enemy

Did you ever think of me
I'm complaining

I never tried to feel
I never tried to feel this vibration
I never tried to reach
I never tried to reach your eden

I forgotten this beautiful song !!! Thanks for remeber me!
Красиво и грустно...
Very very underrated band. Started out as a sort of by the numbers trip-hop band and then slowly developed into some kind of mutant electro-pop filtered through a European's idea of what a Broadway musical should sound like. Until their later albums all of their albums have something worthwhile to listen to. Their most recent album was a bit of a return to form.

Tedious?  LOL.  Dying to hear your naive, narrow minded musical taste (s).  Put the "S" as i doubt you have more than 1 genre!
NICE!   Thanx RP!
good music
That hypnotic french horn.  Fabulous song.
Directly in my musical wheel-house.  Bloody fantastic.

A beautiful song. I was pleasantly surprised by their "Hooverphonic with Orchestra" session. Worth checking out. In video - the visual appearance is amazing.

I just love it when RP plays a track from an album I have not played in ages. . . and it makes me go and re-find and re-play it.

Thank you. 9.
I really want to buy this album, but can't find it anywhere, aside from importing it for some astronomical cost.
Such a great song and awesomely unique band! Love it!  BTW, if you like this, a MUST buy is their album "New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular" - incredible album. This album is also very good but doesn't touch the other.
Before RP, I knew nothing of Hoverphonic and many others. It's hard to imagine life without them now! I feel blessed!

You must be applying some alternative definition of the word "melody"; there's a very distinct melody throughout this song, and it is far from sloppy.
+1 Innocent

Lovely. Must find more Hooverphonic
Geike Arnaert is by far the most captivating singer Hooverphonic ever had.  Too bad she quit.

the singer "Geike Arnaert"

They were great live; their album 'Sit Down and Listen to' is a great example. I believe the singer left and they never really recovered from that though.

Love this set today! Not many people around!?

Is Moby singing in this song? I hear someone in the background with a flat, boring voice.

I like this for personal reasons.  It was one of my daughter's favorite songs for a while.
Their Blue Milk Turned.. . .
Ha! Ha! Ha! very funny. I think it's at least a 7. pweverka wrote:

Sublime, thought I had better say something as you have all been a bit quiet over this track of late.

Yep. This is the original version. ;)

the horns give it a David Sylvian feel - a sample, perhaps?

At first I thought... "sounds like Jon Hassell!" (occasional trumpet player for David Sylvian). Does anyone know if that is him? Very nice groove. I'll need to investigate. Thanks, RP!

Yeah, nice groove...very ethereal string arrangements... I love this group!
Cool groove. Love the horns and strings. Perfect for a lazy Monday evening.
I thought... cool, Sarah Brightman. But wait, she didn't have a trumpet playing like that. Then I clicked on Playlist to find that this version is by Hooverphonc! I don't care which came first - I really like Sarah and Hooverphonic so I like both versions of this piece. It's all good!!!

The horns and strings are great! Woo!
I discovered Hooverphonic through RP, and it's always good to hear their music. I highly recommend the oddly named album from which this track is taken. And yes, I've heard the Sara Brightman version of Eden as well, but while I do like it, personally I prefer the Hooverphonic version.
Being use to the Sara Brightman version...which I love, I had to listen to this for a minute. Not sure at the moment...although good to hear something that HASN'T been played yet. Check back with me next rotation round.
