Memories
He was throwing grain to the ground below, ground below
With dreary circles of his arm, going slow, very slow
His cap pulled down roun' his ears to
hide the smile and watery tears
My loving life is so wonderful
how small seeds gracefully to grow
into beautiful things that spring from these rows
With their musical names and musical sound
Dreary birds parade across the dreary sky, down below
the woman absent mindedly begins to sow, how she sows the
seeds her husband loved so much, but he's no longer
here with us
But her life is so beautiful
as memories continue to grow
into beautiful things that spring from these rows
With their musical names and musical sounds
Beautiful things that spring from these rows
with their musical names and musical sounds, and musical sounds
(Husband speaking)
Distant tho I am
orange, gold, and green
firing, flaming, colors surround me
(Wife)
I'm always wondering where you are?
I'm always wondering where you are?
(Husband)
Darling shouldn't I be the one
wondering after all I am the one who is gone
(wife)
I'm always wondering where you are
I'm always wondering where you are
(husband)
Darling shouldn't I be the one
wondering after all I am the one who is gone
(wife)
I'm always wondering
(husband)
I'm the one...who is gone
I'm the one...who is gone
who is gone
But, there's beautiful things that spring from these rows
With their musical names, and musical sounds

No such thing as too much ear wax for this.
Some of the listeners here must have too much ear wax. I can't understand how anyone can think this voice less than lovely.

I like it! Pretty melody and I think her voice fits perfectly with the song.

AHHH!!
Someone get her a vocal therapist. Maybe she could get one of those voice boxes put in, that'd be quite an improvement.

Damn. After listening to Bjork, any less-than-amazing female singer sounds just bad.

Oh, you voice haters are nuts. She has a very cool voice that fits in perfectly with the style of this band. I love their sound, cool lyrics and complex compositions with nice drum lines and harmonies.

Different.... but truly horrid
I like it
She sounds nothing like Tori Amos. I suggest you check out their entire album, it's pretty darn good for a first album. I'm looking forward to their new one in a few months.
And if you have a chance to see them live, I suggest that as well.

WOW...that takes an awful lot of deductive reasoning, aren't you such a bloody genius?
That's like saying Green Day sounds like Placebo
because there are guitars and a nasal male voice.
That was crap. I don't mean that in a good way.
Still think the singer sounds very similar to Leigh Bingham Nash of Sixpence None The Richer...

Besides the fact that there is a woman singing, and this is, in fact, a song...where is the other similarity to Tori Amos? Puh-leeze.
I'm not saying her voice is annoying or anything...but fingernails on a chalkboard is sounding like an attractive alternative to this.

Yah I hear Tori Amos also ... but this is not as good as most of Tori's stuff.

Close! Both are Texas artists...
Once again RP comes through and introduces me to a new "favorite artist". This album will be in heavy roation on my iPod, that's for sure. Beautiful stuff.
A very very nice piece of music.

So glad to hear this band on RP!
