Yeah, you got it -- another great product of the Boulder vibe...Saw them play a living room gig up on The Hill back in the days...summer of 86? 87? and right about then, Big Head Todd also played a radical kitchen party (and every Firday Afternoon Club at CU) at a house out on Valmont Rd. We remarked how Police-ish The Samples were (therefore future success was theirs) and how if BHT ever wrote his own stuff (they were doing a lot of blues covers and a girlfriend's roommate blew harmonica with them) that they would soon follow. Gotta like the way things turned out for all!
