Camel coat, auburn hair
Idle taxi, Leicester Square
Like a lion in black
Sends up the windows and leans on back
Honey's dripping from the trees
Order me a soda water
Rifles swinging at my knees
Order me a soda water
Said my castle in Nice
Sits on a cove, on a beach
Where a girl can move slow
In a pace she wants to know
So I showed him my cards
He was stunned by the scars
And he said, "That ain't right
C'mon now baby I'll hold you, that's right"
Honey's dripping from the trees
Order me a soda water
Rifles swinging at my knees
Order me a soda water
A tall, a tall
Idle taxi, Leicester Square
Like a lion in black
Sends up the windows and leans on back
Honey's dripping from the trees
Order me a soda water
Rifles swinging at my knees

For fans of Jess Klein's music, where would you go next after this album? There are quite a few to choose from.

Must agree. The song pulls you in, but then pulls you under. By the time its finished I feel like I'm in need of air!
This tune is wearing thin. Seems I hear it every evening I'm listening. Time to drop it from regular rotation for awhile.

Only three pages of comments for this song since 2006? It seems to me that this song plays on RP a lot more than I guess it actually does.

Could just be the Monday morning thing hitting me though :)
Catchy in a lounge sort of way. Wears thin though.

I keep thinking this song will grow on me...and then it doesn't. Quite the opposite.

this songs creeps into the very soul. it creeps steathily, like a soft footed ninja.
One of my favorites ....love the sultry tone...evocative of something, I'm just not sure what!!

Love it! Gave it a 7, will probably revise it higher in the future. Very sultry! Makes me think of magnolias, porch swings and hot summer days in the deep South.
Yea, and mosquito bites on the ankles.
mute while going to get some scotch.
I've heard better
Urg. Verges on screeching.
Its not that I don't like this song, but its getting way too overplayed on RP.
Dolls like that scare me!

Come on, those lips, those eyes. She can sing this at my house.

Horrid.
Two words come to mind.... SHUT UP!
not in the mood for what sounds like a show tune...

Good chill out music.
most excellent!
um....not good for a friday afternoon. oy.
How is the rest of this CD?
The slightly off-key chorus belting out "honey" on this track reminds me of the backup vocals on Devendra Banhart's "Chinese Children". I really like the laid-back tone of this song.

That's funny, it does sound like her, not that it's a good thing...

Nice voice !
She's very provocative until she belts. Mmm. Slick in the grass below.
This song is wonderfully sexy
her voice reminds me of little kid belting it out at the county fair. it's a little aggravating, but maybe i will just have to get used to it.
Don't forget the Vodka
Very slinky-slouchy, good stuff!

Absolutely! It's spelled "Diaraby" though.
Unbearable voice!
I really didn't like her other song on here (Strawberry Lover) but this one is growing on me. Very sexy voice.
Betty Boop on ludes

It's all you need ...
Cool voice.
First time I heard this, I did not like it at all... after a few more listens it's beginning to grow on me.
Will somebody get this girl a soda water so she'll shut up already?!?!
