I might be old but I'm someone new she said
I'm so sore that I could cry always
In the night lay your tired arms
She will have her way
But somehow I will still believe her
She's the life I've been frightened of
Seems like deathly silence and especially the dark
Feels like I am heavy and my spirit has died
She will have her way
But somehow I will still believe her
She will have her way
And one day I will come back
Yeah
Do do do, do do do
Do do do, do do do
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah
Still no end in sight
Though I travel far and wide
A dying man is doing time
Thinker, soldier terrified
She will have her way
Somehow I will still believe her
She will have her way
One day I will come back
Do do do, do do do
Do do do, do do do
Do do do
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Do do do, do do do
Do do do, do do do
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah
(Hey)

I was thinking the exact same thing - as that's the only place I've heard this song outside of RP.
Always reminds me of Sports Night.

I've always thought Crowded House was Australia's answer to the Beatles. Top shelf songwriting, great melodies. Great stuff!
Neil Finn?Best thing since Lennon and McCartney.

So deep understanding of it and obvious talented performance;
She will have her way

Yes I like this .. very strong vocal and backing. What is it that Rotomeo says" The Hotel Room is Shaking from the vibrator bed??
Paul McFinn!
Pleasantry
I never realized this hadn't been played on RP until now. One of my favorite of Neil's. The video is pretty cute, too.
That Neil Finn sure can write a song.

Not a bad song on either this or One Nil (One All). Hard to find a bad Neil Finn song at all. So it would take awhile to exhaust the Neil Finn catalog.
How could this not have been played yet? Everything from Try Whistling This is a masterpiece! Play it, Bill, PLAY IT!!

This is the most 'pop' and 'commercial' tune on this album. That being said...it's a gem and the whole rest of the album is even better!!! Nice to hear this on RP.
