No relief and I can't forget the water and stone
And you walking into the waves
When I ran to follow you, and when I carried you back home
I thought you'd want to be saved
All that you want, the sky above the blue
All that my love couldn't prove
All that you want, why I never knew
All that you wanted to lose
Sleeping in a field at night, a million tiny wings
Fireflies try to land
I thought I heard you whisper, but all the time it was the wind
Spelling words in my hand
All that you want, the sky above the blue
All that my love couldn't prove
All that you want, why I never knew
All that you wanted to lose
No relief and I can't forget the water and the stone
I held you up in my arms
The night is full like the river's pull, and you don't have to be alone
Now you can drown in her charms
All that you want, the sky above the blue
All that my love couldn't prove
All that you want, why I never knew
All that you wanted to lose
All that you wanted
All that you wanted
And you walking into the waves

3 Ho-Hum sums it up perfectly

People - we can't be jacked up ALL the time! This whole set has been a journey, not just individual songs. Part of the beauty of RP is, in my opinion, the ride, however it gets us to the end. I'm getting better at surfing (well, because I don't swim very well, but I can sink like nobody's business) and surfing is a lot more fun than either of the other options. Sometimes, one must grab on and stick with the music through the waves, high and low, and be receptive to anything positive that might be learned during the journey.
I like this song a lot, because it fits in the slipstream. Lighten up, naysayers! Close your eyes, open your minds, and let the music carry you for awhile. Couldn't hurt, and it might surprise you.
Hugs to all you RP folk....

LOL. You mean the Church?
Sounds like a heavily sedated version of something by Midnight Oil - Under the Milky Way Tonight, maybe?

Sounds somewhat like Pete Yorn's "Crystal Village".

She reminds me of Neil Young(why?)We hear too little of either on R.P.
Added Catie to my 'Pandora's Box'
Pretty cool, sounds familiar (the Corrs?)
Got to see her live a few months ago. Really nice show.

I like the simple, declarative, quality of her voice!
