It is 5am & my coffee is starting to kick in!  GREAT TUNE! ...and a great way to start the day!  Thanx RP!
Vlatko is a genius together with Radomir Mihajlović Točak

Yep!  GREAT TUNE!! I never heard it before.  Thanx RP!
I can't find the sense of this piece, just fast fingers, sorry. 1.

that was pretty insane - love it

A technical masterpiece that is boring as shit.  This is the kind of thing that one guitar player plays to impress the crap out of another guitar player.

It's like a very high brow dueling banjos.

NOT a good morning song.

My god, I thought i was the only non-Macedonian (or Serbian) to have this album!  I could hardly believe what I heard when this came on.  It was sold to me at a CD stand in Belgrade back in 2000 by a guy who said "Mark Knopfler says that Vlatko Stefanofski is the best guitarist in the world."  Who knows if he ever said that, but it was enough for me to buy the CD.   Kudos, RP!

That's a true story! Mark said that in a speech after being named the best guitarist in the world (for that particular year). And Miroslav Tadic is a professor of guitar at the California Institute of Arts. This stuff they did together is their own (brilliant) interpretation of old Macedonian ethnic music pieces (which I personally find  the most beautiful ethnic music of the whole region), mixing it with jazz, flamenco style etc.
The outcome of their collaboration....well, to sum it up; one has to be musically blunt not to recognize top quality here (not to mention those speaking BS about it). Sorry, but this is a pure 10.
Bring the vodka - quickly!  Also, give me a potato and beet to fling at the guitarists.

Thank you for this. I especially enjoyed this other piece by Ivan Smirnov: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmSgbZt41rs&feature=related

(I'm taking your word for the musician's name, as I do not read Cyrillic!) There are pyrotechnics, but also attention to time and space in his performance. (Identifiable elements of that magical quality called "Soul").

I suppose I'd better confess: I do not care much for this piece by Stefanovski and Tadic. It sounds like they are in the process of winning a contest for playing fast, and the music suffers for it.  As a non-musician who much admires the competence of musicians, I am reluctant to criticize the result, but there it is.

musical masturbation to me - sorry

kind of like keith emerson - only with stringed instruments
i'm so not in the mood for this

Alas, me too. I found it too fast, too harsh, and their touch lacked any sense of respect for the instrument.

I mean, Leo Kottke plays blazing fast at times, but you always feel warmth in his tone and approach.

Sometimes it's really nice to be ignorant. I know too little to criticise, and can only say I like this a LOT.

Shades of Coryell/Catherine. Not for everyone but deserves its place.

I see what you mean. It seems to lack some technical finesse, too. On the other hand, what they have done musically is fascinating, in my opinion. So I still give this a 9.

Totally agree!
Vlatko Stefanovski is the best guitarist from Republic of Macedonia.

I do (not very well) and I do (quite a bit).  While it is very dense, that can be fun/good too.  It's more interesting to watch rather then listen to such a performance though.

great technical talent...and annoyingly awful!
Oley!
String-please.

Great talent!

Stunning. My sister lives in Belgrade. I will have to let her know about this if she and her (Serb) husband have not.
Amazing; now let's hear them crank up a Les Paul and a Strat!

Fabulous!!!!

This song is going to give me a seizure.

Appropriate anecdote for this song:

I once had the great pleasure to sit in (as a guest, not musician) on the first rehearsal of the Chick Corea Electrik Band. Next to me on the couch was guitar virtuoso, Frank Gambole. He was in cheerful spirits going over his sheet music for the new songs, looked at me with a wink and said, "I wish I got paid by the note".

A solid 9. Add Al Dimeola to this twosome and it's a world tour waiting to happen.
Ok, that's just sick. 9 simply for the number of notes strummed in a minute.
An amazing instrumental conversation between two prodigies
Really amazing technical artistry. I cannot believe this was a live recording. I didn't hear a single mistake. {#Guitarist}
Thanks for playing this.  I'm new to Radio Paradise thanks to a friend here in town.  Thank you for your fine work...

great recording
I can do that.

The fact this is live performance blows me away.  These guys have mad skillz.

Seen them live 2 years ago. Amazing, brilliant!

Bill and Rebecca are really playing some amazing music today. This one had me riveted to my chair with goosebumps all over my body. Excellent, incredible guitar work. I'd love to see these guys live! And yeah - acknowledging someone's talent but not really liking it is very normal. No bad people here!
Guitar fireworks! An appropriate pick for the day, at least for the listeners in the US.

WOW!!! Magick Fingers Flying!
Now this is some very fine guitar virtuoso's in action. Their calluses calluses must have calluses after that performance!
Kickass-ness coming from both headphones! A rollercoaster ride of acoustic fingerstyle. To quote Captian Murphy of Sealab: "It's like a koala crapped a rainbow in my brain!"
Holy crap!
my tongue is tied. this name.........
OH YES...!
Wow! :)
Far out! I can't believe what I'm hearing. Sometimes, you're just doing that 'RP is my favorite wallpaper' thing, and something zaps you out of whatever else you're doing and - far out! How many fingers have two guys got?
This is rippin'!!
Yeah, yeah, yeah... This is one great album! Here's a front cover of it, since RP doesn't have it in its info bar, for now. Maybe RP would want to complete it... Oh, whatever

mmmmmmmm sublime!!! Can't believe I've never heard of these gents.... Amazon! Mastercard! come come... get it together now!
I could not beleive that you are playing this. Vlatko and Miroslav performing great music, but you dont know that :) Vlatko Stefanovski Miroslav Tadić Together

I bet they have a fire extinguisher standing buy to douse the flames on the guitar!
just outstanding
Holy Flying Fingers, Batman! Impressive. Kind of makes me want lamb kabobs and tabouleh for lunch...
Wow. First thought this might be Gino d'Auri. Great being turned onto new music by new (for me) artists. Thanks.
wow

I think it just means you are human. I know there is a lot of very good Opera out there, but try as I might I can't make myself like any of it. And I like a number of songs that don't really seem to have many redeeming qualities....

And having each guitar extremely isolated in the left and right channel is annoying. Just for fun, move your balance to just left or right...that's MUCH better!

Where do you find this fabulous music. Absolutely sublime. Speed and concept with feeling and exceptional mastery of an instrument. Mmmmmmm! Delicieux...
There's a mosquito in my headphones! Kidding. Awesome talents.
