So you'd sing a lullaby to get me to sleep
So it's no surprise my eyes are never heavy
For I've not seen you in the flesh for so long
That I'm not sure we would know each other at all

Oh the weight it must be light wherever you are
And I know you don't think twice wherever you are
Oh the weight it must be light wherever you are
And I know you don't think twice wherever you are

So I will hum alone, too far from you
All that I say now is nothing to you
We will lie under different stars
I am where I am and you're where you are, you're where you are

Oh the weight it must be light wherever you are
And I know you don' t think twice wherever you are
And I'd ask if you're all right wherever you are
And do you think of me, you might, wherever you are

Nice one! Thanks for that info - there can't be many bands whose names come from Winnie the Pooh :o)

Pooh was also inspired by A. A. Milne (unsurprisingly!).  According to Wiki they have sold 100+ million records over six decades. Apparently I need to seek out more Italian music since I was blissfully unaware of their existence.

Actually, Piglet lived in a house in a beech tree next to that sign (Piglet's house). Eeyore mistakenly offered up Piglet's house to Owl, after his had blown down. Piglet nobly allowed Owl to keep the house, after which Pooh invited Piglet to live with him.

The knowledge I gain from listening and reading on this site makes me a happy person... Thanks RP fans

It probably went where they intended.

Unnecessarily harsh.
What's obvious to you may not be clear to others.

Easy and likeable, to my ears.  Would enjoy hearing it again. 7

And after doing a double take I'm hearing Karen Carpenter,...I had to check it out.

Just fell asleep listening to this. Music that puts me to sleep is usually not the kind I seek, especially at work.
nice sound, but kinda never really goes anywhere, does it?

Nice.  Thank You!
WOOOW - HOW LOVELY!

This song is very calming but I am curious if the rest of the album is similar. Can anyone enlighten us?

The whole album is very mellow, much like this. I love the album. About half of the songs are perfect, just like this. The other half are decent enough to listen to for sure. Solid investment in my opinion.
Why am I thinking "Pictures of You"?

haunting ... dark ... sweet ....
Sounded like a cross between Aimee Mann and Mazzy Star
Haunting. Mann-esque.
Lovely song and voice!
hanging this to an 8-never heard before and thanks for the tip!{#Good-vibes}
Everyone in MY hotel room, loves this girl's silky and mournful voice.
I know this band from (dare I say it?) listening to another station.
Glad to see them show up here on RP!.
I recently purchased the CD. If you like this track, you'll like the whole CD.
Love this one — 10 — I've added it to my collection and always think of it as a Radio Paradise song!  Because this is where I first heard it and never hear them played anywhere else. Oops, I take that back - I did hear this song first in the John Travolta /Scarlett Johansson movie "Love Song for Bobby Long".  Oh man....they're not together anymore?!  that makes me sad, I had hoped to catch them in concert someday.

it's snazzy, I like it, more please!{#Music}

Weve been playing this a lot, nice album, really mellow, gorgeous voice and arrangements. Worth a punt in anyones book.
...sounds a lot like minnie driver...
I absolutely love this song. It's so haunting and beautiful.
Wait... This is not Aimee Mann??

Aimee Mann meets Mazzy Star.

I like.
pretty good, but waiting for it to pop open.
Ooh! Nice {#Yes}

Has some sounds like Minnie Driver's "Wire" too...
Indeed! I came here expecting this to be another off that album. This one isn't quite as compelling as the Driver to me though.
Like this!

Could be, but "Trespassers will be shot/prosecuted/eaten" type signs are relatively common, no?

Hmm... this is pretty tasty. Worth a bookmark. Looking forward to hearing more. Thanks, Bill. Even the album art caught my attention.

Not just you. I thought so too.

Somnambulent, but nice.
I like Winnie the Pooh (the song's not bad either)
Lush guitar, nice tune.
this is pretty. i saw them live a long time ago, and wasn't impressed with the show (not terribly energetic, as you might imagine) but not bad over the radio.
That's a voice to fall in love with - really lovely. Nice band name, too :)
Very melancholy, love the singers voice... never heard Trespassers William before, thanks Bill
