Glad I was here to hear it, doesn't seem to get played too often.

Yowzaa

I actually saw Gross when he was touring behind this (The Attic, Greenville NC).

The crowd of teeny-boppers who came expecting "Shannon" were a bit surprised that the show was essentially bar rock for a solid two hours. He did come back and do "Shannon" as an encore, but it was a hard-rocking version.

I read the name and immediately thought, "Shannon??" That travesty of sappy schmaltz only rivaled by "Billy, Don't Be A Hero"?  This song is a VERY pleasant surprise. Mr. Gross has quite a history - thanks, RP, for giving me a side of this artist that I'd never known existed!

mellow, sweet and warm,

perfect on a sweltering,

sunny, summer day.

Well, that was wild.
