Je ne comprends pas votre logique ici, Hoss, pouvez-vous expliquer? D'après mon expérience, tous les pays ont des raisons d'avoir honte, y compris le vôtre !
This guy gives here all the french people another reason to be ashamed of their country. A real performance!
The Wampas french band (also punky pop style) made a song where there was a funny critical of Manu Chao and Louise Attaque ("Manu Chao" is simply the title of the song)(And i don't know about ironism or just a friendly joke...). BtW, i like this one and i found it renews with Mano Negra that i miss in my teenage souvenirs... Thanks RP !
Rockin tune on Radio Paradize!

The album cover is probably one of the worst I've ever seen. Easily wins that award hands down.

Instant fan!! 8!
The vocals at the opening of the song reminded me of Tom Petty... not really digging this, though.
That album cover belongs on one of those 'Worst Album Covers' sites.

Heard Manu from afar at last years Coachella. Sounded great, really wanted to hang around and watch, but there were other bands to see, ya know. Think they're playing ACL this year, definitely going to make a point to see em
Yeah, im digging this song

Hi Ali!
Not my favorite track, but not bad.
Decent enough song. -1 for stupid trendy (lack of) spelling.
guy's just awesome!
sounds like johnny rotten yelling in the intro...
me likey
Manu Chao reminds me a lot of the Clash back in the day. To many Rock n Roll purists in the late 70s, the Clash was just noise. But they used the sounds of the streets, with a political message. Manu Chao is also using the sounds of the streets, and a political message. The fact that the sounds of the streets are a lot more "pop crap" is our own fault.

THAT should be the least of the reasons!
Quite a different way to make a "protest song". Very catchy tune - and (my opinion) great lyrics. As to being repetitive - how many times did Bob Dylan say "the times they are a-changing" in his signature song?
Note - saw the video on you-tube - modern and innovative as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvaOgaqEBMQ
Pretty polarized feedback on MA NU. I think it's a great song and always crank it up!
Hummm,
I rather like it, siren and all having the sub woofer may be what is making the difference for me but, yeah, I likes it bunches.

Definitely not the best song from an usual great artist, but acceptable.

Holy flip people...get outside your freakin borders and realize there's more to the world than sippin' starbucks and burning gasoline...I like the guy. His whole approach stretches my boundaries!
I heard this song in Greece a few years ago. It was all the rage in the clubs and cafes. I actually like it because of the world feel it has......to each their own I guess. That's the beauty of RP...IMHO
Reminds me of nails on a chalkboard..... for the love of all that is holy, stop playing this awful song......
This is really annoying. 0
MAKE IT STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just can't find the words to say how much I DO HATE HIS STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!
HE SUPER SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try something new man!
I can't understand what they're saying, is it English?
Okay, I went and looked up the lyrics and they're even less appealing than when I couldn't understand them. I'm gona' give this one a solid 1 for total lack of creativity and refusal to learn whatever language it is that they're trying to speak.

I was doubtfull about the studioversion of this song, but I saw them play it live on Later... with Jools Holland recently (very, very good live show on BBC television) and it blew the roof off. Amazing energy, played by a band who looked like convicts.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh! These guys used to be good. This is my first ever 1 rating.
Good rule of thumb: any song that relies heavily on a police siren as an instrument is a bad one.

from this album I highly recommend a song called "me llaman calle" (they call me 'street')... in live on the streets of Barcelona...it's....just fantastic!
Moving progressive rhythm.
i like Manu Chao
Dude, I like Manu, but how many songs are you allowed to say "this world go crazy/(fill in the blanks and end with -cy)" and still be taken seriously? Try something new man!

Alright. A wicked song.
Okay. Cool song.
I hated this song when I first heard it on KCRW, and I still cannot stand it. As soon as I hear that blasted siren, I mute it/change the channel. I just don't get it.
It took me a while to get used to his voice/style, but something about the texture of his songs kept me coming back...how can you not respect someone who sings in 7 different languages?!

The Show is still out there. It's Midnight at the Belmont Theater in Nashville. All Virgins are, of course, welcomed with a very Transforming Experience.

Innovative?! The clubish siren in the background? The endless repetition? I wouldn't be surprised if the lyrics even read as 'to da xtreme'. Innovative? Really?
But to each their own. It just sticks out like a sore thumb in RP's playlist.
